September 28th, 2020 10:00 PM #1I'm thinking of replacing the majority of my car's suspension because the noises are starting to get worrying.
I've had bad experiences with "suspension specialists" before. So this time I plan to buy the parts myself from an auto supply.
Problem is, i'm not 100% sure what the parts are called, and how much of each part i need, so i'm looking for guidance.
Here's what I know so far for the front end of the car (1997 honda civic vti automatic):
- Upper Control Arm
- Lower Control Arm
- CV Joint
- Axle boots
- Tie Rod
- Rack End
- Stab Link
- Coil Spring
- Shock Absorber
Please, correct me if i'm wrong or missing something here.
If you can also tell me the rear suspension part names, please do!
Thanks guys!
