having said that, how will the car be secured from scanners because it sounds like the new security is using an RF to unlock the doors and etc?

please shed light into this because i am interested in purchasing/installing one especially the push-button feature.

cheers!
we don't need to compromise the security, if we make a push start button, just insert your original car key to make the push start work, its a choice, if you don't want to start your engine by the original key, pwede po yun for double security purposes, the engine will start only if the original key and the PKE is present.
Another thing is, for my advance skills for installation such that kind of special features of car security, i can make the engine off, even its running, if the PKE is away from the car, anyone wont start the engine without it, like the security feature made in toyota camry 3.5Q.
