sir, is that a wallpaper (yung nasa likod ng icons) that you placed yourself, or is it just a reflection ng pagka kuha niyo ng pic? parang picture kasi ng isang interior shot ng isang car, yet it also looks like something else. ano rin po pala balita sa customized greeting logo and wallpaper?

yes sir, what you see is correct, its a wallpaper of a car (parang hinati yung side body nya para makita yung loob..

unfortunately i havent seen any option to change that one. the only wallpaper that I have changed dito sa unit is when before I play a DVD/mp3. na save ko yung picture/logo na gusto ko. after that wala na.

so does that mean para siyang psp nga na nakikita mo yung wallpaper? i mean, nasa background siya habang nagpi-play yung mp3 without pressing any buttons anymore just to view it. yung tipong 1 time go lang sa settings then lagi na siya available makita whenever you play mp3? pwede sample picture sir if hindi naman nakaka abala sa inyo? hehe thanks

hi sir, sorry, Im not sure what you're talking about.. wala kasi akong PSP.

anyway here's the picture when playing MP3 on usb mode.

this is the first view for USB / SD Card / TV / DVD modes.

the one that is different is the part of the right side, you can see in the picture is the list of my music in the USB. that will automatically maximize palagi. whatever mode you are in.

if im going to play DVD that one is different, the logo/picture that I saved is the one first going to show.. then mag play na siya ng DVD.. mawawala na yung logo/picture

yup! using kingston 1 gig and 8 gig USB sticks fat32 formatted. sd card 2 and 8 gigs.. same format.

sir pa check naman yung accuracy ng garmin kung ilan. nag iisip kasi ako na ang kunin ko yung walang gps kasi meron na ako garmin 255w with 4m accuracy. pero gps is lot nicer in big screen

afaik regarding accuracy, its the same but unfortunately Garmin XT is not anymore being updated by Garmin... but you can still update the maps and supplementary maps.

originally the one installed in my unit is Garmin XT version 5 which is the last one updated by garmin. tapos yung map copy came from roadguide.
(not sure what version) but i believe accuracy is also within 5 meters/less

I also downloaded a supplementary map and overlayed it together with the primary map on the headunit and it worked just fine. (more detailed street maps/names and POI's)

im also a member of roadguide.ph and i always contribute and get my updated maps there. can you please check the accuracy of the garmin while the car is moving. you can do this by pressing the signal bar. kasi sabi sa ibang nabasa ko forum, garmin mobilehais 10m accuracy.



ito nalang kasi ang pumipigil sa akin pag bili.

by the way does it have a gps external antenna?

yes sir may external gps antenna... na pwede ilagay anywhere sa kotse as long na abot yung wire. im not really sure dun sa accuracy if its 5m or 10m

using garmin mobilext on win ce, i compared the reception of my head unit sa gps ko sa N8, everytime na nagpupunta ako sa tanay area, pababa ng antipolo sa may teresa area, 2 to 3 times napuputol signal ng gps sa N8 ko, sa garmin ko sa head unit, never pa ako naputulan sa area na yun.

The reason my car is not on the road is because I'm parked inside a lot :-)
Accuracy is good (I don't have the exact figures lang) pero you need good antenna placement din.

sir if you just can press the signal button for 3 to 5 sec it will show you how accurate is your gps. like this one..
