I really don't mind those emergency warning systems esp. when put to proper use.

Sometimes, when I'm assisting a fellow motorist in the middle of the road (lalo na kung bad weather), I wish na may warning system ako sa likod like those Whelen or Federal Signal pursuit strobes mounted behind the rear windshield. Ok din ang concealed strobes sa back-up lamps for a clean look.

Time to add to our growing list.

This one was snapped along Espana. A blue Mercedes Benz 500SE using a police siren to force its way through the rush hour grind. License plate reads XJN 819

    now i recall...

There's no such thing as an OEM siren. Even on Patrol models.

Nevertheless, if you count the ratios of sedan with illegal sirens are much more than a few SUVs with it.

true. large SUVs don't need sirens to be intimidating, lalo na kung kasabay mo mga ogags na PUV drivers!

Uy naalala ko to ah! Tangnang F150 yan, ang yabang nung may-ari. Nakaconvoy siya nun with other FPJ supporters, mageexit ng Sucat. For some reason, ang tanga-tanga ng driver (juvenile ang potah!), naiwanan siya nung convoy. If you're familiar with the Sucat exit, nasa extreme left ang e-pass lane. Kasama ko yung uncle ko nun, we were about to take the epass lane, when the driver tried to cut in front of us. Siyempre hindi namen pinadaan (my uncle was driving), ayun winangwangan kame. Aba nagalit pa at sinigawan kame. So ginawa namen, minura na ren namen. Kainis!

I rarely post at this forum but this certain post caught my attention. I agree with you Skywalker.. I do hope there's no double standard. If you don't like what these wangwang boys are doing, then you must be an example. It's either you're a user of these hateful devices or you're not.. No grey areas, no exemptions.

blinkers are very useful if used properly. they are better than the EWD specially pag sa highway ka nasiraan. pwede mo naman gamitin yung busina mo pag emergency talaga. i've seen taxi's do this and makikita mo naman na may talagang mukhang isusugot sa hospital. personally i only like the sound of the fog horn compared to the actual siren.

Blinkers are useful but they should be the white ones and not the red and blue kind. Also why have these devices on your vehicle if you hate other vehicles with these same devices. It's like saying you hate filipinos when you are a filipino yourself. It's either you use/have them or you don't.

Just thinking out loud.. sorry for butting in, just voicing out my opinion.. peace
