I have to admit that I contemplated about doing this plenty of times... But yes, it is wrong.. so hanggang 'contemplation' na lang ako.

Also, what if you make the wrong calculation and hit the pedestrian? Kakasuhan pa tayo niyan di-oras.

Kawawa nga yung Kia kasi muntik na mag-spin when the bus swerved at us.

Ngek.

I know what you feel. Just use your horn nalang.

Pag nag "Bip bip bip bip..." or "biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiip" ka, mumurahin ka nila and sometimes, baka paluin pa nila yung hood mo.

I always tell people: if you want to see the progress of the Philippines, just look at how they drive and use the streets.

No discipline. Hindi marunong magbigayan. Basta ako ang tama. Walang umaamin ng mali kahit obvious na.
Nagugulang. Nanloloko. Nanlalamang. Ayaw matuto. Bawal pagsabihan.

If people do it in the streets, what the more off the streets, where we spend more time in?

As of now, I don't see the country improving in the near future. Not in this lifetime.

    *****

Pero some places in the provinces, may discipline pa mga tao. May hope pa rin ang Pilipinas! Sana they don't get infected by the germs from the metro... lolz...

Masyado niyo kaming binabagsak e!".

It's the other way around: Wala silang konsiderasyon sa kapwa nila, baragas silang gumamit ng kalsada kaya nanatili silang mahirap, kaya hindi sila umaasenso.

to add to mazdamazda, looking at the bigger picture, since the problems of our streets are symptoms of much of the root of the problems of the country as a whole...

it's not just the "undisciplined drivers", it seems. kahit naman mga self-declared "educated drivers", sadly, including some people in this forum and others like it, reklamo ng reklamo tungkol sa corruption, but readily admit to bribing traffic cops on a valid and inexcusable traffic violation. (sigh)

yup, we have to be careful with using your horn.

hehehe. good lord, what stupidity! what's more tragic is that it's not really their fault and they'll never understand no matter how much we get mad at them, until the system itself is overhauled.

it's not that i do it everyday. pag nakakaasar lang yung tao tsaka ko ginagawa yun. kasi sometimes garapalan na sila na naglalakad sa kalsada eh eventhough they know na your inching your way behind them because they're walking in the middle of the road. there was this one time na i honked at a guy w/ a short "bip" and he looked at me as if nanghahamon. that really pissed me off. di ko naman gagawin yun pag babae or bata naglalakad sa kalye noh. i have a conscience naman kahit papano.

i agree w/ you on this one. i myself admit to bribing traffic cops. but my reason for this is not to escape the violation. if you were previously caught and issued a traffic violation ticket, you would know how bad the system is here in retrieving our licenses at LTO. that's what i am trying to prevent. imagine, i once tried getting my driver's license because i got caught in a no left turn street and my god, it took me 3-4 hours just to get my license and pay the fine. the line was so long that you would think you were in line to watch a concert of mariah carey. i swore from then on that i would do whatever it takes to prevent the traffic enforcer from issuing me a ticket.

same here wac3, nahuli ako at pinaikot ako sa 4 na precinct kasi po yung nakasulat na office sa ticket eh no longer there, yung mmda sa libertad i think.. and ang masama pa, hinuli ako ng d naman clear ang violation, lane violation lang yun eh, napagtripan ako... since then, 2x na ako nahuli, parehas binigyan ko na kesa maulit pang almost wholeday kang maghanap ng license mo..
