this is probably my worst day of 2003....everything just went whacko wrong...no sleep, terriifyingly horrible exam, relationship problems...then this...Butch was towed away just this 1:30pm at P.Noval, UST. I was parked near a corner but my rear wasn't portruding on the other side. There was also another car parked right in front me. and a bunch of other cars parked at the NO PARKING zones of the left side of P.Noval. I was with my brother at UST. He was going to meet his GF. While we were at coffee indulgence, I didn't notice any tow truck towing my ride....funny actually, to think I was facing the road...anyway, when I got back to the place where I parked Butch, he was gone. SHEF!*#$ I told myself "ano to carnap??? S***!!!" I didn't have my alarm turned on because I didn't have batteries for the alarm. Anyway, I asked around.There was a guard (or so) who was at the very corner...he said he didn't see anything...no tow truck or anything...ha??? that's impossible! or probably he was sleeping at that time. So when I got back to where I parked there was a piece of paper on the floor. Yesm, I was towed. I was warned already by my brother not to park on the other side because he saw how fast these toiw trucks tow. So, of course, I parked at a place without a NO PARKING SIGN.....When I got to the impounding area at C.Palanca st...to my surprise, I wasn't even given any respect on my in to their so called office. I was treated like a KID. Every question I asked was answered with... "eh ganon eh..eh mali ka eh" Buwisit talaga! Pumutok ako! Nagalit talaga ako! I was shouting to them kung gaano sila kabastos sa mga tao. I asked them, "is this how you respond to people who are already in fire? (in tagalog)" all they said was, "eh ikaw kasi dyan ang nauna eh.." buwisit! To think I was already the one saying "sir and po" BUSIWIT TALGA! Umabot hanggang doon sa PNP Assistance team. We discussed matters. I asked all my questions. And I was answered proffesionally. I also complained on how the towing office received people. So everything was settled, I paid PHp 1700...Sh** talaga...pang oil change ko yun...buwisit.....my violation was parking within 6m of an intersection or curve...this was the first time I heard of this violation. But there was a written ammendment by the MMDA stating so...Anyone here has a copy of the latest traffic and parking rules??? Sana we could dessiminate this info. effectively to at least man lang, help uninformed drivers (like me)...buwisit talaga ang araw na to...sorry, just venting my anger over the forum....
