Would appreciate any clarification on this. Investigating police officers automatically seem to side with them for this reason. Or if they're supposedly unbiased, they are sort of resigned to the mob rule mentality of the seemingly helpless or injured.
Our family driver was a victim of one of these jack*$$ MC riders a few months back. Sad to say, he was driving my car, tooMC rider forces his way on the left side of the car while approaching the Shaw flyover, hits my car, folds the side mirror forward, takes a tumble and my driver is charged for physical injuries. Best part was, jack*$$'s barangay captain father is the one doing all the talking, while he wasn't even there. His Evil Knievel son suddenly had no balls and no tongue to man up. What I love about the police was they even told my driver that he should spring for the medical bill out of pity. I asked the cop, out of pity? What if it was his death wish or stupidity to have done so, then this is extortion? D*mn cop had the gall to tell me, what if the situation were reversed. I said well then I wouldn't have done anything that crazy or stupid in the first place. Grrr!
Last night on my way to work along molino blvd. may intersection tpos siempre magbagal kasi intersection so nung walang dadaan I went my way then suddenly may isang mc na biglang lumabas. Siempre busina to the max. Huminto ba naman tpos nagmumura. So I went down holding my 9mm an d ask him Kung anung problema nya. Ayun si bago kumaripas ng takbo iniwan yung motor. Susunugin ko sana e. kaya lang malalate nko. Btw license and with permit to carry.
I remember I read somewhere that the basis for that "car is always in the fault" during traffic accidents is some stupid clause in traffic law that states something like "car driver should utmost try to avoid causing the accident as much as possible".
Exactly! I don't mind the motorbikes who would split lanes carefully in traffic since it is logical that they can get ahead in a safe manner. Now however, they're becoming more brazen with swerving tactics and cutting lanes even if traffic is moving at moderate speeds.
I guess these guys also side more with "their own"... Unless they see you're one well-known or connected personality.
Obviously whoever came up with that clause wasn't driving alongside these *$$holes!
Dapat. Tanga na yung investigator kapag hindi sya sumunod sa evidence, and I'd presume you can file a complaint or charges.

As private car owners I think yan na ung best na panlaban natin sa mga abusadong motorcycle. Kailangan ng ebidensya or else tayo lagi ang may sala.![]()
To be fully safe, best yung dual lens na car DVR.
Isa paharap, isa facing the interior with clear views of windows.
Kelangan pati yung from POV ng driver, para kita din kahit papano kung sa gilid. Then again, ok na din yung sa harap.
Pano yung recording ng dash cam? Recording to a CF or SD card?
Christmas gift from one of the pasaway riders. Hit and run... by a red UB with no plates. Happened just this morning.
