Last saturday, on her way to a wedding that we had to attend, my girlfriend got hit by an idiot MC rider. She was using her dad's fortuner. She was coming out of the village around 20kph attempting to turn right. All of a sudden, a speeding MC tried to make it crossing the intersection even if he saw her trying to turn right. The result, he hit her bumper from the center to the right. Tumalsik siya. Good thing he was wearing a helmet, all he got was a gash on his knee.

(Sorry for my crappy drawing, sa paint ko lang ginawa yan.)

My girlfriend paniced(first accident) and checked to see if he was okay. I guess he was shocked cause he wasn't moving. Later, he stood up an said he was okay. He even took fault and said "kasalanan ko, pinilit ko pa". He also said "hindi sa akin yung motor, sa amo ko yan." My girlfriend made a mistake though, she moved the fortuner because it was causing traffic at the intersection. She didn't know she was supposed to leave the crime scene as it is. Anyway, the investigators came and did the preliminary procedures. Pinagalitan pa siya dahil ginalaw niya yung fortuner. She said she had to go to a wedding so we came back after visiting the reception for a brief time(sira ang occasion para sa amin).

Anyway we went to the office to talk to the pigs. We waited for the other party to come so both parties could give their statements. It's obvious they're trying to clean things up. Now their stories changed, now they're blaming my girlfriend.

BTW, my girlfriend's dad is a lawyer. He visited the intersection where it happened. He looked for witnesses and they all agreed that it was the MC rider's fault. Right now, I don't have any updates yet about the case.

Sorry if my paragraphs are chaotic, i was just typing as I tried to recall everything.

edit: the pig who was investigating was immediately blaming my girlfriend. even though he wasn't there when it happened. IMO, if it the fortuner was the one that went forward to bump the MC, the rider would be under the SUV. Di siya tatalsik pakanan. It only points to one thing, he was speeding and swerved left to avoid the fortuner and get back to the right lane but didn't make it.

Give the idiot who owns the motorcycle a lesson.

Your girlfriend's dad is a lawyer, let him handle all of these.

That's the stupid analogy of almost every motorcycle rider. They're the ones who are always right. Total BS. Kaya matatapang yan sila eh, either ways ( sila makabangga or sila ang mabangga ) .. sila ang tama.

Tell them in the face that they have no money and squatter lang sila.

Takutan lang yan. Ganyan din nangyari sakin, ako pa binaliktad. Pero sa huli sila din tumiklop

Mga oportunista kasi. Just like the way they drive, sige lang ng sige, basta makalusot. Good thing my girlfriend's dad is a good lawyer. He was calm and immediately said "wag na tayo magsisihan, walang makakalamang sa atin kahit ano pa gawin mo, aksidente yun." I guess staying calm was also his way of getting to their heads.

edit: ang problema rin, initially, the pigs were right on their side from the start. i think its a big underlying problem why traffic sucks in our country. etong si investigator, sinabi pa na 24 hours daw siya nasa office, "walang lambing iyon." WATU si ser. baka gising na praning.

I don't think that guy is the type to read a forum like this and learn from our comments. He lives in an urban jungle and understands only jungle law. Best to beat him down para matauhan :furious:

Dang these ill bred motorcycle riders!
I'll say a great many of them (I won't say "majority" lest I get dragged into a muddy debate with certain people out there) are really a menace to our physical, emotional, and mental health. The pictures provided by foresterx is just proof of the lengths these goons will go to escape responsibility for their misdeeds.

    -----

Last night at C5, I and a Sorento behind me almost made a pancake out of a stupid rider who tried to force his way between me and the Sorento.

The Sorento was on my right and slightly behind my vehicle and upon looking at my side view mirror, I saw it signal, wanting to go into my lane behind me (there were some parked cars on the Sorento's lane).

There was a bit of traffic so I was moving very slowly. After a few seconds, I heard a loud squeaking sound followed by a long horn blast. I braked and glanced at the side to see a motorcycle rider almost between my vehicle's rear and the Sorento's front, apparently trying to squeeze himself in the very little space there was. I can also see him slightly off balanced, propping himself up against the Sorento's hood. Poor Sorento, though I was also worried that motorcycle might have scraped me... luckily it didn't. The Sorento's driver side window was also rolled down and I could glimpse the driver scolding the rider.

If cars are burdened with it so too should bikes. More income for them.

errr.. what tax are you talking about? to my knowledge, hindi naman exempted sa tax ang mga motorcycles

Not a day passes by whenever I drive my car that I don't almost get into a scrape with these MC's...they always know how to ruin your day...or at least try to ruin your day.

Just this evening...an idiot MC rider traversing a one-way street almost hit my right passenger side...tsk tsk tsk.

was trying to resist to post but I just found this hilarious.

fyi, these bad riders are not out to ruin your day, or at least not out on the road to try to ruin your day.

people on the road are motorists doing the same thing as you and me but with different reasons. ako rin naman whenever I'm on the road on my scooter marami akong naeengkwentro na sira ulo, ogag, tang* na motorist but ano magagawa ko? the most that I can do is to be aware that they are there and be weary of their presence-- dagdag points for being a defensive motorist.

paranoia naman na kung iisiping nandyan sila sa daan with the sole purpose to ruin your day

It's not surprising if many people think that motorcyclists are almost deliberately doing stupid stunts to piss them off (in other words, generalization), with the sheer numbers and the amount of idiocy they display on the roads.

Similar thing with sh*tneys, trish*t-cles and homicidal buses.

Disagree? Good. We don't care. You shouldn't, either. Unless you can't accept how other people's experiences have resulted to them having a different viewpoint than you and/or just being too sensitive.

In a way, such generalizations help in defensive driving, like what I do with public crap vehicles, certain moroncycles and car models.

When you see an "idiot candidate" on the road, you expect him/her to do something stupid anytime, hence you get extra careful. You let him/her go ahead of you. That way, you can avoid an accident or something, which is what really counts.

Too bad this doesn't really work 100% of the time, but at least it's better than getting angry and trying get back at them.

    lol, ano yan, troll post?

Your posts, while having some form of logic in them, give off this impression of a mix of rude disagreement, denying and sometimes flat-out ridiculing the bad experiences of the people who have posted in this thread.

Maybe that's why people get all negative when responding to you.

My point is, if you're just going to post to defend your fellow motorcyclists against experiences of people without making a new point (and keep on regurgitating the same logic over and over again) dahil nasasaktan ka lang sa mga sinasabi, then just quit it. Kasi away lang ulit ang resulta.

We don't want a repeat of what happened when a mod gets pissed enough and there's a whole lotta useless posts clogging up the thread.

wag mo na lang pansinin yan, a perfect example of a common motorcycle rider on the road.

he is there to piss you off with his rude attitude

    para hindi masyado OT:

earlier at market2x coming from c5, I was in the middle lane waiting for the go signal when 3 riders stop on my right and when the green light lit up they suddenly swerve to the left going to market2x without even using their signal, good thing I didn't step on the gas right on because if I did I would've hit those 3 riders.

Too many PASAWAY motorcycle RIDERS on the street
