Is there a shortage of LTO stickers?

I had the LTO registration of my Sedona renewed on the first week of June. Unfortunately, LTO Dagupan said the 2007 stickers weren't available yet, and said I had to comeback next week to get them.

So, I went back to their office last Wednesday, and the lady at the counter gave me just one piece of sticker for my license plate (click link for photo). Sabi nya "Okay na yan," which was the same response I got from the security guard at the door leading to the inside of their office when I asked him if I could go in to inquire about it.

Medyo low batt ako nung araw na yon, kaya hinayaan ko na lang at umalis na ako. Looking back though, I feel I should have been more persistent since I am after all the one who is going to get a ticket if I get flagged down for having only one license plate sticker and no windshield sticker to boot.

I just wanted to ask you guys who have registered recently if there is in fact a shortage of LTO stickers. If not, do you think I should complain to the LTO head office before trooping back to LTO Dagupan?

you should demand that you get the rest of the stickers. kasama yan sa binayaran mo.

Oo nga. Sige, sa Lunes susugod uli ako dun sa LTO office... hay buhay. Anyway, kasalanan ko din kasi hinayaan ko lang na mauto ako

Nag renew din ako nung June 6 wala ding ibinigay na sticker balikan ko na lang daw after 3 weeks

In fairness, tinatakan naman ng LTO yung O.R. ko nung June 6 na "No sticker available," pero ang weird nung bumalik ako this week... ano yun, installment ang pagbigay ng sticker

Buti ka pa may nakuha. Ako 8 months na plate pa lang ang nasa akin. Kahit isang sticker wala. Pero I noticed yung iba na bumili ng car ng late 2007 meron mga sticker.

Kanino kaya pwede reklamo ito?

when i had my car registered during the second week of january, 2008, ganun din ang nangyari. the LTO employee told me to go back na lang or call muna to check on the availability of the sticker.

since ang talagang scheduled registration ko is last week ng january, ok lang sa akin. and i went back last week of january to get the sticker. may naibigay naman sila.

so kung baga, two week delay lang ako.

Revive ko lang po thread na 'to. I got my AUV from Mitsubishi dealership on September 2, 2009. Since nasa province din naman, i chose a regional license plate for faster processing. By Sept. 25, I got the plates. Kaso walang LTO sticker na kasama kasi out of stock daw accdg. sa liaison officer ng casa. In short, patapos na ang November pero wala pang sticker. Tuwing follow-up ko, puro next week ng next week. May naka-experience na ba sa inyo na matagal niyo nang nakuha ang plates ng bnew car pero wala pang sticker? Cagayan Valley area lang ako so i don't see why walang sticker lagi ang LTO dito.

baka tinatamad lang yung liaison officer pumunta sa lto. ganun nangyari sa akin dati. "sir for pick-up na po matagal na"
