Yep it is to blame too, more of a ramp yung barrier kaya ang ending ililipad ka palabas.

Compared sa center barrier ng NLEX pag binangga mo tendency is pipigilan ka.

Yan, jersey barriers dapat para tipong mag bounce back yun sasakyan pabalik. Kaso hinde yan ang gamit sa skyway.

Makikita natin na hindi angkop yun barrier sa Skyway. So malamang kahit maliit na sasakyan eh rarampa dyaan.

But there are ample signages, to miss it i think is kasalanan mo na.

If you're a newbie passer (not referring to you BTW) much more na mas mag ingat ka dapat and be mindful to signs etc signs.

Some drivers tend to think their cars are invincible, drive like there's no tomorrow.

Everytime i pass skyway lagi ako may nakakasabay na ganyan, usually SUVs masyado tiwala na safe sila kahit hataw ang takbo.

I agree... Kung kasalanan ng barrier o ng road, dapat dyan everyday may nalalaglag dyan sa dami ng dumadaan dyan sa skyway (thousands i guess) reckless driving IMO ang cause niyan... Kaya may skyway para makaiwas sa traffic sa baba hindi para mas maging mabilis/reckless ka... Well, buti na lang safe ang driver... Ingat na lang guys

Yep. Hindi naman araw araw may nahuhulog dyan.

My uncle told me, kahit alisan mo ng barrier yan, pero lahat ng driver matino mag maneho, wala mahuhulog dyan.

bro AFAIK these "jersey barriers" were designed for vehicles as large as trailer trucks, i could be wrong though.

ako, i try atleast. max ko siguro sa express ngayon around 105kph dahil di maiwasan minsan. pero once makita ko na nearing 100kph ang needle, inaangat ko na paa ko.

They will work if the vehicle/driver is smart. Problem is overspeeding drivers probably cannot react fast enough to avoid clawing thru them. They end up going up and over.

These suvs with rear wheel drive configurations will easily go over these barriers. Its reckless driving imo with damage to properties. They should be penalized.

Even if you are a trained race car driver, even if you are driving a race car, the streets are not race tracks. There are hazards, other drivers, and vehicles around you don't know you are on Mario Andretti mode. Slow down. Sometimes you get there faster by slowing down

not really blaming the barrier bro, the fact natamaan yung barrier, ay obvious na may mali syang ginawa. isip ko lang baka maiwasan sumampa at makaramay ng mga nasa baba. pero sabi nga ni bro StockEngine wala magagawa yung design nung jersey barrier sa RWD SUVs.

ano ba ang constant? ang barrier ba or ang kotse.
malaking unknown sa equation ang kotse / driver dahil depende ito sa different conditions.

ang barrier naman, constant lang sya. so ibig sabihin, mas madaling iadjust ang specifications nang barrier.

at any rate. i doubt na gagawin nang skyway management yan. sasabihin nila lugi sila :P

Skyway MNGT must renovate their railings to prevent dumb drivers falling on the ground. Just see this picture how low the railings are in the skyway. If you step on the gutter, you can actually jump over the railings with ease.
