i once saw a video of similar incidences, abroad.
self-sagasa is not new, nor unique, to any particular culture.

locally, in the metro, there was this one-eyed man who would throw himself against the fender of his victim-oncoming-car-in-slow-moving-traffic.
...haven't seen him in a while.
either na-tuluyan na nga, or... he became too famous.
