Did the news articles mention if he had permits to own and/or carry, said handgun?

    walang ptcfor pero meron ltopf

baka meron din german gun yan pero sinurrender nalang nya yung brazilian gun nya to throw off the investigation maybe the actual murder weapon is a SIG and they're currently tampering with it so it won't match the ballistics hehe (if and when they decide to surrender it). that would be the smart thing to do as a criminal

btw all that forensic ballistics is probably BS and non-conclusive

    something fishy here.

    an ex-carnapper was once interviewed.
"what cars do you victimize? high end cars ba?"
"hindi po. we steal the more popular cars. they are easier to sell afterward. or we can dis-assemble them and sell piecemeal as spare parts. marami humahanap nang piyezas nila."

    2 schools of thought.

small time carnappers will always steal common cars as there's always someone looking for cheap parts

high end car nappers can do the necessary paperwork para magka-documents yung high-end car for the next user

Back during the days when side mirrors were being stolen everywhere... A colleague went to Banawe to buy a surplus side mirror to replace his stolen one.
The surplasan he went to sold him the same side mirror that was taken from his car.
He was sure because the color matched and he engraved his car's plate number on the inside.
