hi mg sir gudpm. bigay lang ako situation ko kagabi kasi sa lane ko me nakaparking (no driver) na kotse tapos 2 lane lang yung daan,,(so bale lane ko at lane ng kasalubong) ngayon siyempre nilagpasan ko yung nakapark dahan dahan (so bale nasa kabilang lane na ako na pasalubong) so clear ang daan. ngayon me tricycle na as in nakapark sa gilid tapos biglang hinarurot niya padiretso sa auto ko yung tricycle niya.. so napilitan ako humataw para hindi niya ako matamaan (kasi 2 lanes nga nasa kabila na ako so humataw ako to return to my lane) take note nasa village po kami. sino po mali sa amin? dahan dahan naman po ako nagpass dun sa nakapark na kotse pero as if yung tricycle dirediretso lang na feel ko kasi nasa right of way siya.. naisip ko naman kung hindi ako nagpass ehdi nakatrafic na ako sa mga kotse sa likuran ko. naguguluhan tuloy ako, goon ba ako dito o yung tricycle?

    TIA

Dapat pinagbigyan ka bro. ng tricycle....

Ang may kasalanan ay iyong nag-park sa kalye.... Dapat, sa garahe niya i-park ang kotse niya.....

The tricycle was very wrong in doing that. Based on your narrative, it was very obvious that he had a very malicious intent in trying to beat you to the spot.

I don't think this is an isolated incident. I always encounter tricycles (and jeeps) who initially are dawdling along, maybe looking for passengers or what not; then, when they see a vehicle (mine or someone else's) try to pass an obstruction (it could be a parked or stopped vehicle, a mound of gravel, anything), they suddenly lurch forward to try to beat the vehicle to the spot.

I think it is an ingrained bad habit of theirs brought about by years of trying to jostle with other tricycles/jeeps for passengers. This then results in that irrational, illogical, and yes, malicious practice of trying to beat everybody else for the passing spot.

In fact, one of the accidents I encountered three years ago (my Altis was barely 4 months old then) was when a tricycle that forced its way on my left, causing a deep three-foot long scratch on the driver-side door all the way to the rear passenger-side door. I was in the same situation as you: a car was blocking the lane on a narrow two late street, I already had a third of my car's body parallel to the obstruction when an incoming tricycle accelerated and squeezed on my left. Instinctively, I stepped on the brakes, but he still hit me. What can I do? It was 1 AM, I just came from work, he was a bit drunk, I was tired, hungry, and very angry. Knowing he can't pay for the damages, all I said was "Halata naman wala kang ibabayad sa akin; umalis ka na bago pa kita habulin ng bagay na ikasisisi nating dalawa." Good thing my insurance paid for the repair and all I paid was around 4K for the participation.

You're very lucky that nothing happened to your car, but yeah, we really need to keep an eye out against a lot of those pesky tricycles, especially when we are in narrow streets.

keep in mind the almost all tricycle drivers are idiots. that is why i love to see them being harassed by buses on national roads.

Ganyan yan.

Walang ibabayad. Sino naperwisyo ? Ikaw.

And with the case of digitalron, even though insurance nagbayad ... may 4K par. fee pa rin siyang binayaran. 4K is large enough to buy you something that you would enjoy ... mods, trip to somewhere etc.

Ganyan yan. Pasalamat ka na lang rin siguro that you weren't side swiped with those *holes.
