Saan na yung mga police na nag-sspot checks ng mga nito?
Sana naman ikalat nila yung mga checkpoints at hindi lang sa iisang lugar.

wala ng check point tapos na kasi ang gunban. nag kakaron lang naman ng checkpoint pag may gunban. kaya ngayon good luck na lang sa mga di alam protektahan ang mga sarili nila.

AFAIK, merong checkpoints dati kahit walang gunban, chinecheck yung rehistro, saka random check nadin ng gamit.

Ok sana kung tinuloy tuloy nila yun...naalala ko dati nasa tandang sora ako may checkpoint, tinakbuhan nila yung pulis, nakakatakot baka magka shootout kasi hinabol din ng motor ng pulis, hininto ko muna yung kotse.

they don't, it's still a win win situation for them. they grab the bag fake or not it still has goodies in it.

may random checkpoints dito samen sa caloocan. malala nakawan ng motmot dito, as you all know, my pakin city is the motmot saykol capital op da pilipins.
muntikan nakong masita (unregistered scoot) buti di kilala 2t scoot ko.

ilang beses ng nasampolan ng rit mga kapitbahay ko. ako na lang di pa (knock on wood!).

fake or not may wallet and cellphone/tablet sa bag

bonus lang kung may halaga yung bag

iregalo nalang ng snatcher yung bag sa misis or gf hehe

Better talaga not to carry designer bags that are flashy. It attracts the snatchers even more. But I remember that they particularly snatched designer bags maybe in the assumption that it carries more goodies?

OT: My friend's sister left her bag inside the car while in yoga class. When she got back the car's window was smashed and her bag was missing. They eventually recovered all her other stuff because it was left somewhere lang. Bag lang talaga kinuha and cash in wallet. She had over 5k in GCs, hindi rin kinuha

And I thought being in BGC was safe.

I've been there a lot, specially in early mornings (2am-ish) to prepare for fun runs, I walk around the streets to observe and I felt safe, seeing sports cars racing through the streets and drunk girls roaming around.
