wika nga, on a late late night with few cars and no traffic, i will be the person who will still stop at the red light.
if by chance you encounter someone like that, dont laugh bro, malamang ako yun, hahahahaha![]()
the point here is....there is NO JUSTIFICATION for wangwang use. kahit pa dalawang araw na at hindi pa rin umuusog ang traffic, wala parin karapatan ang civilian na gumamit ng wangwang.
i dont intend to be a hypocrite, but my safari has a disconnected wangwang right now (sira na ang tromba).dati ginamit ko narin siya to avoid trucks and buses, but i learned dito sa tsikot na there is absolutely no justification for wangwang use.
solution: pakabit ka ng 2 pairs of stebel magnums or nautilus...mas mura pa.mas malakas pa!!!
not to raise your mettle with you Innova_Boy, pero wala na bang ibang daan dyan sa inyo, or di ba gumagana ang local government and officials nyo, at ganyan ka-grabe ang traffic?
parang nawalan nang sense yung thread na ito a. kasi lahat tayo, we are trying to point out kung sino ang mga may wang-wang tapos isa pala sa atin (isa nga lang ba?) e gumagamit ng wang-wang.
peace out
well this is life there is pros and cons always like in politics..
if you dont like to install one it's your opinion..
If i like to install one it's my opinion also..
so to eveyone lets just respect each one's opinion and move on...ok..
WBR,
also to prez...just a scenario..
like those who appear as citizen's patrol... tsk tsk tsk.. I pity my child and family who will surely miss me if something will happen to me..
Maybe you dont have expereince receiving death threats yet so better understand the nature of being citizen patrol when the one whom you will brag upon are the police and barangay people here who mulct moneys from those helpless vendors, sidecar and jeepnbey drivers everyday... they make P10M per day alone in my area which i came to know,,, so if i were you i will think of my family foremost before appearing in citizen patrol... now if YOU are willing to sacrifice your life then be my guest here..
WBR,
OT: (apologies in advance to the mods but i feel i have to answer this)Originally Posted by Innova_Boy

when i was head of HR of a shipping company in the old north harbor (of mud, grime, tondo criminality and the like), we have 5 unions. of these 5, the shore union was the most radical and vocal. they had their share of bad eggs (like going to work drunk, fights, stealing, corruption, protecting erring union members etc). being the disciplinarian that i am, i confronted all the union officers and warned them. but i told them that i will also be fair if that is what they request of management but they have to do their share. ang sagot nila sa akin? nag strike. however, their strike did not last a day as i got an assumption order from the dole immediately (i have good relations there and legal naman ang request ko, hehehehe) when the union leaders did not go back to their jobs, i threatened to teminate them all and forthwith filed the necessary complaint with the labor courts.
i was then advised by our security officer that there was a threat on my life. it was a genuine threat and the company offered security. when i say security as in armed bodyguard and vehicle escort.
but i refused. i believed that it would send the wrong message. instead, i continued to reach out to the union leaders who were still working and waiting for the resolution of the labor case. when the labor court upheld the company's position to terminate the union officers, i did the opposite. to those who were willing to work hand in hand and achieve industrial peace, i only meted out the symbolic penalty of suspension. staggered suspension pa so that it will not affect their families. all the union leaders agreed except the union president who carried the fight to the NLRC. by the way, the union president lost in the NLRC. last i heard he enrolled in law school, hahahaha
since the time the union leaders opted to work with management, we had NO STRIKE and an active LMC. i am no longer connected with that company but i have remained friends with the union leaders.
you want another case of a threat to life? when i was a young lawyer, i went to a factory where the strike was led by KMU in order to find a solution. with no regard for safety and the primordial concern to see a settlement, i went there accompanied by the KMU lawyer
you want another case of a threat to life? how about hiding in college because marcos paramilitary forces are on your tail or the threat of detention is there all because of being an activist
i can give you more but bago hahaba ito let me leave you with this poser:
to quote you:
"if you dont like to install one it's your opinion..
If i like to install one it's my opinion also"
this works for things like car preferences, color, model and similar things. we all respect each others opinions here. after all, lahat tayo may sariling ideas and preferences.
but when installing a wang wang is illegal, its not a matter of opinion
it is something we comply with
of course, my suggestion bro is for you to remove it. maganda naman ang suggestion ni glennster ah, that is to put a strong sounding horn like stebel magnums or nautilius. i have a stebel magnum and the sound is just great, hehehehe
but otherwise, as correctly pointed out by ian_rex and i quote him:
"parang nawalan nang sense yung thread na ito a. kasi lahat tayo, we are trying to point out kung sino ang mga may wang-wang tapos isa pala sa atin (isa nga lang ba?) e gumagamit ng wang-wang."
peace bro and i truly hope that the problem in your neighborhood will be solved
if you believe you have evidence or if you can just tell me who these mulcting and corrupt police officers (names, rank and precinct) are, PM me. i can try my best to help you.

I will just pose one question only... DO you have a family already with young kids??
Me well I have family to support and kids also...evrything i do now i think first of my family before anything else... so before i do something drastic that will put my life in danger, I'll think twice about my family especially my children...
WBR,
SOrry mods for Off Topic, This gonna be my last reply..

as you can see, we really dont have to look very far to see the reality of wangwang users and their reasons of using them.
it is a LAW.kaya sundin.period.no excuses.it's not a question of endangering your family since everyone of us has a family to support and protect.
its a matter of ABIDING A VERY VERY UBER TO THE MAX SIMPLE LAW.

I just saw this guy who drove this Revo (WLS-118) on Congressional ave from EDSA to Mindanao ave ON THE OPPOSITE LANE (left side of the island). Take note, parang sinasalubong mo yung edsa traffic. This is about 1:30am. This guy drove about 2km on the opposite lane and had 7 or 8 chances to use the (island) breaks to go to the proper lane but he DID NOT. He endangered the lives of those people on the opposite lane. I can’t believe it!!! I tried to capture the event on video on my phone but it was to dark to watch. He was using this “faded” roof-mounted blinker. He even used his "wang-wang" para tumabi yung mga kasaslubong and then turned left on the no left turn to mindanao ave. I'm sure nagtatawanan pa sila after the incident. ANG GALING MO PARE!!! WAG KA DITO MAG-TRIP! MAG ABROAD KA NA LANG!!! DI KA NAMIN KAILANGAN DITO SA PILIPINAS!!!
may nakita ako kanina sa sta rosa isang white 04 (ata) na crv with red and blue blinkers on the roof. too bad i was not able to get the plate number but i am sure it was not a red plate. there were no government markings or stickers either
mukhang set up as an escort vehicle
just my 2 cents bro. peace. hehehe.
JFF 808
