    Anyways here it goes ...

At around 6:30am today, I was cruising along EDSA at 60-70kph when there was this one police escort who was beside me and waved his hand for me to slow down. I did oblige with his request, so my speed is now down to forty. But there is this another police escort who cut my way through, I didn't really care ... they were fast anyways then what I saw on my sidemirror was one Toyota Hi-Ace Super Grandia with blinkers coming fast through my side. Upon reaching me, he cut my way through again! I didn't care, again. Then there's this Grand Starex TCi who out-of-nowhere drove right beside me and tried to go again to the other side. When I, who cannot slow down anymore because there's a vehicle right at the back was cut again by this TCi but, his rear almost hit my front, I just moved to the right a lil' bit for him not to hit me. Pininahan kung baga. Then, when he has successfully entered the other lane there was this again this commuter grandia, who to my surprise wasn't that harsh in going through the other lane. Yes, he was fast but he did the changing of lanes carefully.

6:30am in the morning. These convoy is already bugging the motorists who are cruising safely in EDSA. What more if they are in the rush hours ?

I just hope they can be more careful in driving.
Yan ang magandang picturan... at ipost...

Driver of Toyota Camry or Honda Accord grayish silver in color with plate number ZPB 390, you sir are an arrogant, pompous moron.

At around 7:20am I was cruising along the Skyway on the rightmost lane since I was not in a hurry and I was driving quite slowly (70-80kph) when suddenly this grayish silver vehicle appeared behind me and started using his siren emitting short bursts and turning on his blinkers located behind the car's front air intake grills. I checked his plate number and seeing it was green-colored with no government vehicle markings which can be clearly seen, I decided to ignore him understanding that it was another pompous a**hole.

There was another vehicle on my left, about a car length behind me so he was essentially boxed in but he could have slowed down a bit to let the vehicle on the left pass, then changed lanes so he can enter the leftmost (fast) lane. But no-- he wanted both of us to give way instead.

He suddenly sped up and swerved to the left, almost hitting the front of the vehicle on my rear left which had to step on his brakes to avoid a collision. The driver of that vehicle blared his horn to express his anger but the moron just continued to move on.

At least after he passed us he didn't use his siren again. Which is a good thing, but shows you that he wasn't really in an emergency. He just wanted to shoulder aside every car which he thinks is more inferior to his.

So to the driver of ZPB 390: I hope you get what you deserve real soon.

magtatanong lang mga sir.. i've encoutered this twice na sa NLEX... meron red plate na mistu adventure and may escort na mga motor with blinkers.. bigla-bigla na lang susulpot sa left side mo then i-cut yung lane mo to the point na papuntahin ka sa right side ng lane... parang pinipitik yung mga kotse papunta sa kanan.. they did this to all cars na nasa left side even if we're doing more than 100kph..

There's really a lot of them these days.

This morning, on my way to work, there was an unmarked white sentra LEC with government plates (started with an "S", but I couldn't make out the letters since the plates were painted WHITE?!?).

Started blaring his siren when he couldn't get past a queue of cars coming out of Fort Bonifacio turning left to EDSA-Ayala using the flyover. Tried mightily to get past several cars (some gave way, some didn't) and got right behind me thinking I'd let him through.

He thought wrong though. Since he was shifting lanes so much, he had the tough luck of getting behind a Victory Liner bus and taxi (which loaded a passenger on the second lane).

No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't shift lanes fast enough to avoid either a bus or a jeep just to get past me since I was just sticking to my lane and letting him figure out how to overtake without cutting into my lane. He was doing this within plain view of MMDA personnel who were on patrol bikes.

He finally gave up when we got near Heritage Hotel/Roxas Boulevard when he saw a couple of orange shirt traffic enforcers from Pasay City flagging a whole lot of vehicles down for violations.

what's really bothering is kung paano sila magpatabi ng mga kotse from left side to right side sa NLEX... as if they're trying to initiate contact... to think na nasa NLEX kami, they can just have they're blinkers and sound their sirens so cars can give way, kaso inde..

The people using this sirens illegally never earned my respect to them . Actually maski sino ngayon pwede na magpalagay ng wangwang na yan. Thankfully there are some people who don't abuse it, bilang lang sa daliri. During the time I'm having my car tint to shop in Banawe, one customer of the shop which I think a member of CIDG or some a PNP special group suggested and said " palagyan mo na rin pards ng wangwang at blinker yang auto para mas pogi" My plain reply was " Di kasi ako authorized sir, wag na lang siguro" . I think he got what I mean and he just went back where his car is being installed with those stuffs. I just paid the tint, no need for sirens and blinkers - I can reach my home anyway without harming fellow drivers.

im just curious.. what if the color of the blinkers is white? do you still go against the presidential decree? and what if your 'siren' dosen't have that 'wang-wang' sound but what you have is like the 'ennk! eennk!' sound?

As lot as it flashes light and sounds like a siren (heck even those jeepneys using car alarm sirens), unauthorized use is against PD96.

Exactly! I've also driven under an real emergency before and i was able to get through and ahead without a siren or blinkers.

Just the other night i also encountered on EDSA a white Chevy/GMC Tahoe Denali followed by a silver-green Patrol Super Safari and a Lexus LS at the rear. They were all over the effing road and the Patrol was really swerving and intimidating cars (yung tipong pinipitik yung steering to the left or right). I got beside them a few times and i was really tempted to open my window and give them a one big PUTO NG INA NYO as the bodyguards had their windows open (to make it convenient for those who would want to lob a grenade at them)... but my sanity (aka the wife) kept me at bay.

With all the cutting and swerving they did, they never even managed to really get ahead of traffic. Had they followed the traffic flow they probably would arrive at their destination around 5 minutes later.

Im also planning to put up a sticker at the back of my car saying

    TASKFORCE P.D. 96
    ANTI SIRENS AND BLINKERS

reactivate the task force Wang- Wang (Task force PD96) Pls Help us.
