recently, ive spent at least 6k for everything thats been done to my car after "ondoy" and it seems all is well naman sa kotse ko. oil change, replace plugs, air filter, fuel filter, brake cleaning & adjust, carb cleaning, radiator coolant, tire rotation & balance, transmission gear oil replace, brake pads replace, high tension wire replace, well reasonable price naman kase nag-canvass din ako sa multi-motors sa q.c.
remember "dagatdagatan-c3 im not going back there anymore" thread? na nailusong ko sa baha yung car ko? that was already maintained by rapide in meralco ave. before i got in that place in c3. well so far wala naman masama or worse na nangyari sa kotse kahit oldie na.
tama ka sir gh. juno cars, afaik is a affiliate company of golden point autocare aka rapide, which is under one roof, lica managemet corp. but maybe depende din siguro sa nagma-manage. like if you go sa other rapide na franchise, like sa meralco ave. hindi naman sila katulad nung mga nasa thread dito...peace!

Given for the years 2003 up to today, the story around Rapide's reputation has been well documented and consistent in the discussion forums here and other sites. I doubt if anything will change as long as the same people are in charge and the same people will still be handling & "fixing" the cars.

thats my point sir. maybe sa mga so-called company owned ganun sila. but as ive said sa franchise owned hindi sila ganun eh. i dont know but for me na price awared, (kase sometimes ako din ang bumubili ng parts), so far ok naman for me. yung mga concerns ko sa kotse ok naman ang service. im not being pro-rapide, siyempre ingat pa din ako. and i have'nt tried yet sa ibang branch na company owned.
I have been a customer of rapide for a while, everytime na umuuwi ako dito sa Pinas, sa kanila ko dinadala yung kotse ko. Mitsubishi Lancer 2004 GLS, at saka yung Van ko na Nissan Vannette 1984. I have very limited car know how, change oil lang at disk brake pads replacement ang pinaka mahirap ko ng ginawa.
Dami ko ng bad expieriences dito sa Rapide, ilang beses na rin akong tumawag sa hotline nila pero ganoon pa rin. Below are some of them
Bad Expierience # 1
Where : Sucat Rapide
When: 2007
What : A/C cleaning and flushing/Compressor replacement.
Cost: Est 15,000 pesos
Result: Umaander AC ng 1 month, tapos, sira nanaman sabi sa akin nung binalik ko yung compressor daw. Wala daw silang AC tech dalhin ko naman daw sa Alabang branch nila. Pinalitann doon , after a few weeks , sira nanaman. Dinala ko na lang sa isang unknown shop sa BF , pinakita ko yung compressor na tinangal, sabi sa akin wala naman palang problem, yung fan lang pala that should have just cost me around 1200 pesos for a new one including labor.
Bad Expierience # 2
Where : Magallanes Branch Makati
When: 2008
What : 2 Front tire replacement
Cost: Est 10,000 pesos
Yung sign nila nakalagay, Open from 8 AM to 5 PM, we got there around 8:10 ng umaga, The Guard welcome as in and nagpapasok sa amin, isang technician palang nan doon. Yung Manager whose name is Ronald, kakaligo lang pala sa shop nila at nung tinawag ng gwardiya dahil kanina pa kami sa labas, lumabas siya at nagaahit papala at may shaving cream pa sa mukha, naka pantalon lang , wlang damit pang itaas at nakapaa. How professonal, tapos sabi sa amin sandali lang daw. 8:30 na ng umaga, nung lumabas na siya ulit, tinanong ko kung magkano ang tires,binigay ko na ang specs ng tires, di niya alam ang prices tapos hinahanap ang listing niya, at saka naamoy ko amoy alak pa. Tapos after 8 to 10 minutes nahanap din niya. nung binigay ang price quote,hindi na ako nagtanong pa kasi kailangan ko na talaga palitan , medyo matagalan daw ng 15 minutes dahil wala daw silang stock nasa Buendia pa daw, sabi ko Ok lang, mag breakfast muna kami sa MAX about a 10 miinute walk from the shop.Tapos nakipagsigawan s a telepono sa isa sa mga bodegero nila sa Makati.
Pagkatapos namin mag breakfast about an hour, di pa rin natatangal yung tires, pero nandun na yung bagong replacement, nasa smoking area yung 2 tech , yung isa lang na nag OOJT ang nagtatangal ng tires, hindi niya matangal, yung isa kasi may lock yung gulong, pinipilit niyang tangalin, pinukpok niya ng hammer para daw umikot napingas tuloy, tapos ng dumating na yung isa, pinagalitan siya, kinabit nila yung binigay namin yung susi na nut sa kanila bago kami umalis, d na mabuksan kasi mishapen na yung nut, pinilit pa rin, bumigay naman yung susi. Pero natangal naman nila, inabot ng 1130 bago nakabit lahat. dapat pala ako nalang nagpalit sa bahay namin, siguro yung 1 hour pinakamatagal na yoon.
Nung pinalitan ko yung rear tire, kailangan kong ipatangal yung isang stud at sirain yung nut kasi sira na yung susi. an additional 800 pesos .
Bad Expierience # 3
Where : Buendia Branch Makati( Beside cash and carry)
When: 2008
What : Stirring fluid hose replacement
Cost: 12,000 pesos
8K pesos initiall estimate, tapos after na mag merienda kami sa Cash and caryry pagbalik namain sabi sa akin wala na daw yun, ubos na daw mayroon lang daw sila ng original na worth 13K, 5 K more. Ngayon I remember pareho din ito doon sa Rapide sucat nung nagpapalit ako ng rubber suspensions. Ganyang ganyan din ang sinabi sa akin, same thing with the Magallanes incident, initially quoted at a lower price and then magdradrama na wala na ang mura, out of stock na daw , ipapalit yung mahal halos doble ang price.
So I said to the guy, alam ko na style ninyo , huwag nalang.
Hindi ng hindi na ako magpapagawa sa RAPIDE.
All this incident I made a comment and e-mailed it to thier customer service hotline, untill now nanduon pa rin yung bastos na manager na si Ronald sa Magallanes branch , nakikita ko kasi kapag napapadaan ako.
So guys, I hope this serves as another Red flag when you think about Rapide service.

I would like to believe that I can make a difference for Rapide. My name now is synonymous to Rapide here in the community, so I will do everything in my power as a Marketing Manager to influence change. We are now looking into the details of Rapide La Union
Just want you guys to know that through the years, there have been improvements going on with Rapide internally. Hopefully these changes will be good for our clients and really be felt.
I haven’t encountered Rapide’s ‘improper’ act during its initial operation. I frequent Pasay Road-Park Square and I have no remorse. This is the only branch I visited whenever my car broke down.
But I have these experience from them when I had my Corolla serviced for a ‘change-oil’. Somehow I noticed a day after that a mineral liquid is coming out (tulo lang naman) from the oil repository. With no hesitation, I sent back my car for them to check and they gladly assist me. Free of charge, dapat lang naman seguro.![]()

Dapat noon niyo pa inaksyunan ito. I'm sure I am not the only one, majority of the comments here are Bad. Bukod sa E-mail itinawag ko pa sa hotline ninyo, that was almost a year ago.
Initially I was attracted to your shop because of it's good appearance, pareho ito doon sa mga repair shop sa Japan, where I have lived for a decade. Pero doon sa Japan kung ano yoong pinoproject na image ng shop ganoon din ang service nila. Kahit hirap mag ingles yung mga hapon, maiintindihan mo ang paliwanag nila, ipapakita talaga sa iyo ang sira habang ginagawa nila. At saka kapag papaiwan yung sasakyan mo, papahiramin ka nila ng sasakyan nila. Kapag natagalan sa sinabi nilang time frame or nagkamali ng diagnosis, di na pababayaran yung labor, parts na lang babayaran mo at saka hihingi sa iyo ng dispensa yung manager at mechanic niya, sobrang hiyang hiya sila , akala ko nga maghaharakiri na sila sa harapan ko. Thats pure quality service.
Maybe Rapide should emulate them ,at least try, to ressurect it's
reputation as a scammer shop.

BE#1&2: Store Auditors are now alerted on these. (Each of our stores is subject to audits; if they are following standards and procedure)
Also, if possible, may we know your plate number/s (if it’s ok with you) and the person you’ve reported all this concerns. For validation purposes only, we don’t want naman to violate anyone’s rights, specially the person/s concerned.

Still not convinced, cguro kung sincere yan mga yan they should reach out to their costumers lalo yung mga naperwisyo at nabiktima. Harm has been done. You have all our records in your shops!
