^Go to Rapide at your own risk hehe dami ng feedback naka post dito sa tsikot.

Regarding oil change, baka small car lang yung 1200. Mas konti yung oil na kailangan. Mas mura filter, etc.

    ^ Di daw tayo kapani-paniwala. :D

BTW, if the car is still quite new and under warranty, i'd advice to go first to the CASA for servicing.

With 300,000 vehicles sold just this year(9mo)... i wouldnt be surprised how much money he can make.

Kayla Limcaucos pala ang Rapide? Wow! Dami nilang subsidiaries!

I thought nag franchise lang sila sa Lipa, that was the worst branch I ever went to, ang mekaniko di marunong, ayaw ilagay sa lifter ang sasakyan, pilit tinatanggal ang oil filter from above kahit may baluktutin sya na cover just to reach it, and nung i-report ko sa visor, sinuportahan pa na pwede naman daw ibalik yun.

    in my opinion,

in a number of shops, there is usually the more experienced master mechanic, guiding the minions.
even today in pasay rotonda, there are such persons that the younger ones consult, when they have problems.
how these older ones got their experience, i do not know.

    in the olden days,
6 months may have been sufficient time, because most cars' systems were designed in the same general manner.

nowadays, because of electronics and technology,
training may have become "brand-or-model-specific", requiring high technology equipment.

how shops today run their place, is generally up to them, yata.
at one time (during the marcos era?), there was an evaluation tool, by which shops were given seals of approval.
does government currently have an effective evaluation tool, by which these shops are... stratified?

but one thing that may not be effectively taught in auto mechanics school, is
    "honesty".

No experience with rspide good or bad.
One thing I csn tell you , the nice facility and fancy tools DO NOT FIX CARS. Integrity is a must. Things you need to look for a shop are integrity, training, experience, skill and fairness. Dont look for the cheapest one, you get what you pay for. Once you find one, be fair with him, respect him. If who you found is a technician( applies the laws of physics, chemistry, geometry and economics), never call him a mechanic.
