relax lang mga fellow tsikoteers. medyo umiinit na yata.
while it is true that madalas ngang nangyayari na may mga MO ang mga enforcers natin, marami pa ring mga pasaway na motorista. all for the sake of vanity.
totoong mahirap ngang makita yung plaka kahit na medyo light green ang tint sa glass. well, kung clear (like yung deflector brand) ok lang sya. pero may nakikita akong mga deflector na may shade na yellow - parang na hepa. a yun bawal yun talaga. as for the the JDM plate holder, so long as your glass is clear, it's ok. may iba kasi, naka-JDM plate holder na nga, naka-dark glass covers pa...

Not to condone illegal stuff, but madami ring mga bagay na 'illegal' na ginagawa ang mga noypi sa mga sasakyan nila. AFAIK, even louder horns (for safety) are illegal depende sa humuhuli sa iyo. Same case with dark glass tinting, as well as other seemingly trivial equipment regulations.
I put clear covers on all the Rizal plates because I've noticed that all the non-covered Rizal plates in fleet are faded, discolored, peeling, etc. If they used the previous 'Philippines 2000' plates, a simple frame (to prevent bending) would've been enough.

Yung mga ganun daw pwede papalitan sa store kung san mo binili basta ipakita ang resibo at isauli yung defective cover. The problem was, I didn't buy my deflector at that store (sa QC ko pa yun nabili two years ago), so I just bought a new one and installed it together with my 2006 LTO sticker last month.

July 7th, 2006 11:50 AM #39i have installed clear covers sa plates. masisira kasi yun plaka pag di ka naglagay. ang hirap pa naman kumuha ng replacement. anyway, im not a fan of tinted covers dahil hindi makikita plate number mo. nakakatawa lang ang mga operation na ganito, bakit yun mga bus na lumalabas ng yellow lane eh hindi hinuhuli? as i recall kaya nga ginawa yan yellow lane na yan dahil sa issue ng mg pasaway na bus eh tapos baligtad na ngayon. ang private vehicles ang tinitira...
kaya siguro di pa rin umuunlad pilipinas.....
