November 27th, 2004 03:28 AM #41pasensya lang ang katapat ng crowded parking
i avoid going to malls during peak hours ... punta ako 10am sa sm malls, 9 am sa divisoria
but if i come at peak hours, i drop my passengers to go ahead and start shopping and then i just take my time looking for a slot ... sometimes stopping at a strategic spot where i could wait for any of 20 cars to leave their slot, kadalasan less than 15 minutes waiting time lang ... sometimes i also ask people if they are about to leave and some would even say "halika sundan mo ako", a good deed that i return to other guys
my worst experience was the parking lot at the back of chinese general hospital, after going around the lot for several times while noticing other cars too lucky to chance upon a slot, i got fed up and blocked the entrance ... sinita ako ng sekyu, sabi ko "kanina pa ako paikot-ikot dito eh, dito ako maghihintay hanggat magkaroon ng bakante" (kunwari galit ako) ... iniwan ako ng sekyu, pagbalik sabi nya "sir, meron na bakante"
i never do this "reserved" thing kasi nga unethical ... minsan ko pa lang nagawa yung nag-park sa merong ganda tsikababe nakatayo, sabi ko "miss, sayang ang ganda mo kung gagawin lang taga-reserba ng parking", umalis sya nakangiti :D

ok here is my say about the matter. actually, parking lot is meant for vehicles, therefore, first come, first serve basis. kaya kapag may haharang-harang sa slot na gusto kong pagparadahan, dinideretso ko. another thing, i hope this will be a lesson to all of us here in tsikot, (im sure alam nyo naman na ito), kapag nakalampas ka na sa slot, don't ask your companion to reserve it for you. go find another slot na lang. proper ettiquette lang. or if you plan to park in reverse, remember to signal your intentions clearly (of course it will be clever if you could manuever the vehicle in a single stroke.), hazard lights simply put.
yun lang.

on second thought, i always try to park the farthest if the parking lot was full. less hassle, nakapag excercise pa ako.
