We have a savings & checking account sa EPCIB, after the merger, naging strict na sila sa mga charges and fee like money transfer, GC, etc. Dati waived ang mga yan.

our payroll is via BDO. They do require a PHP100 minimum balance. The available balance is 100 pesos less than the current balance.

kung ganun, magkanu na actual money ko?
    let's say:

    current balance: 1,000
    avail balance: 900

it used to be 1000 talaga yung dalawa.

    now:
    1. how much nalang talaga ang pera ko?
    2. saan ko babase yung 100 minimum, sa 1,000 o 900?

hay, ang labo nila. di man lang sinabing may ganun rule ang BDO. mga banko talaga, di papalugi. tsk

fyi: its not a case of the bigger croc eating the smaller croc. bdo is the smaller croc. epcib is a bigger bank than bdo. that's what's making this merger so weird. the smaller croc ate the bigger croc.

(okay. the SM group is bigger than epcib. but as far as banks are concerned, epcib is bigger than bdo.)

    1. how much nalang talaga ang pera ko? 1000, if you close your account today this is the amount you'll get
    2. saan ko babase yung 100 minimum, sa 1,000 o 900? sa current balance (1000), your current balance should not go below 100 hence the maximum you can withdraw is 900

i still have bpi and metrobank atms from my previous companies. both don't have maintaining balance for payroll account. pwedeng iwithdraw lahat (zero balance)....

pag regular savings or checking account meron talagang maintaining balance...
