Logically, it makes sense, but it really depends on how the road is arranged. whether or not left/u-turning can obstruct the other flow of traffic. I rarely see a no-U-turn slot that allows left turn, though.

yup agree how the road is arranged, there are forking roads which you could u-turn but its hard to get a left turn.

Rule is pag may no left turn sign, automatic no u-turn...

...pero pag no u-turn sign lang, pwede pa mag-left turn (example: Ayala Ave. cor. Yakal - tapat ng Makati Central Fire Station)...

Other than my first statement above, it applies na pag walang nakalagay na bawal, hindi bawal at di ka dapat hulihin...

the question is why cant they just put two signs that says no u turn and no left turn... after all this signs are official regulatory signs...i dnt think theres a compromise if you only have one..

Sa pagka-alam ko, though not an authority, specific ang signs, i.e., no u-turn allowed where there is a no-u-turn sign, and no left turning allowed if there is a no-left-turn sign. If both signs are there, bawal ang kumaliwa at magmaneobra.

Or pina-alpas ka na lang after contending with the traffic officer. Or pinadulasan mo na lang?

No U-Turn, meaning also no left turn??
