Sir Jut, try mo na lang tignan yung mga promo's and offer sa ensogo, metrodeal and cashcashpinoy. May nakita ko dati na 3 step detailing which is much better that rubbing compound.

    My two cents.

May mga taong masyado lang talaga mapilit. Kala mo perpekto sila kung maka kumento. Makikita mo sila rin tarantado sa kalsada.
Yup, yung green gate/brown wall yung bahay namin.

Tsaka sabagay, dahil village yan malamang may sarili kayong mundo dyan. Better talk to your assoc pres about the matter.

If you bothered to backread before ostentatiously commenting, you'd know that the cemented part in the picture isn't a sidewalk. It was previously a small plot of land with grass on it, which we then converted to a patch of cemented pavement so I can park the car outside while minimizing the intrusion I'll be making on the street.

With regards to the yellow and black markers, you'd clearly see that it was placed on the said patch of cement, not on the street itself. Never have I claimed that the street was ours and that it was my right to claim it.

As far as I know, the concept of an "eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth" has long been eschewed by civilized human societies and has not been considered as a proper moral standard since the time of the Code of Hammurabi. I've no intention to argue any further with anyone who continues to operate on such a barbaric paradigm.

I've confirmed that it wasn't a deliberate attempt by an upset neighbor. While I was taking a jog, I noticed that several other cars on our street were keyed too. A silver brand new gen 10.5 Altis 1.6G (front quarter and 2 doors), a red gen 2 CR-V (front quarter and 2 doors), and a green ES Civic VTi (2 doors and rear quarter). Didn't have a phone with me so I couldn't take pics. And baka isipin nila ako pa may gawa nun hahahaha.

The best solution! You may want to add motion detector triggered flood lights.

And the best solution here is park in your own garage...Otherwise, dadami pa yang gasgas sa kotse mo, it's either your car or your neighbor's car...

"Ha! sabi ko na nga ba!"

Funny how this thread has gone way off topic, from possible fixes of scratches to reprimand for not enough garage space. :dance1:
well, you opened the can of worms when you hinted that the "keying" could have been traceable to parking problems..

I said this before now I say it again, those who don't have garage shouldn't be allowed to get a car.

In all residential areas I've been to, be it here or in another country, street parking has never been disallowed. After all, as long as residents park in an orderly and considerate manner (i.e. no double parking and taking into account others' driveways), it harms nobody and benefits a lot of people.

Street parkers are well aware that their cars are more exposed to harm than if they were placed in a garage, which is why I'm sure most people would want to have one if they could. Not everyone gets to live in a vast plot of land though, especially in the metro.

As to having an actual law that prohibits street parking in residential areas? Haha, good luck with that. Even the most exclusive subdivisions in our country are filled with cars parked on the streets.

    OT

Even if we could've had it built na sagad, nag-iwan lang kami ng maliit na space.

Agree, downtown Boston is lined with street parking in front of apartments. Singapore is the same, parking in front of their home, street parking is legal.

Yup ganun na nga but bakit nag-lagay pa kayo ng barricade or sign na "no parking" sa tapat ng bahay niyo?
