Motorcycles should be allowed to counterflow BUT under the right methods and circumstances. They should be allowed to overtake and 'filter' to get ahead of cars. Imagine if bikes follow what cars do i.e. ride firmly on the lane and not filter? Traffic will be 3x worse than it is today since bikes have to occupy the same lane and wait as cars do. Also, imagine all those commuters you see on underbones, scooter, big bikes and what have you. Instead of buying a bike, they all decided to buy a car. Imagine what the additional real estate (or road space) they have to occupy?

I disagree with allowing bikes to counterflow. It poses a danger to oncoming traffic, pedestrians and to the biker. Also, why not observe the use of proper signals? Siguro mas igagalang ng ibang motorista ang naka motorsiklo kung irerespeto rin nito ang ibang nakasasakyan.
