Guys, beware of pressure washers sold by Clean City. They sell washers made from China with warranty. But the sad part is, they only have a warranty on the pump and not on the whole unit itself. We bought a pressure washer knowing that it is in good condition. We even tested it. When we got home, we used it to clean one of our car, then when we were going to use it again, it stopped. We immediately brought it back to Clean City, after two weeks they told us that it is not covered by warranty coz the motor is burned due to normal wear and tear. It means that after one use of their product, thay will declare it as normal wear and tear so if it broke down, it is not covered by the warranty.

Ayos a. One time use lang. Baka demo unit yung naibigay sa inyo.

Have there been other buyers who have had a similar experience? The product should have some sort of documentation stating the warranty coverage and limitations.

isang gamitan lang??? ano yan disposable... pero bakit naman yung pump lang ang may warranty which is the most unlikely to be kaput as a package. bro, hindi naman kaya na-sprayhan ng tubig ang motor?
pero am just curious sa definition nila ng wear and tear hehehehe

....as in one time use lng mga bro...sabi nila brand new daw at naka seal pa...we didnt doubt them kc may warranty...after two days reklamo na kmi...check daw nla tpos sunod daw motor at kailangan i rewind...humuhingi pa cla charge sa rewing that cost 1,800...ang lupit nga...we learned our lesson at clean city...its better na bumili sa mall with a higher price, but the service is much more accomodating...

they should replace it with new one. what model did you get? i have their commando 2.5 HP portable pressure washer (yellow) since '02 and i use them once or even 2X a month and still works well.

one thing that they remind me with my unit then is: it is better to continuously press the trigger that on and off, turning the nozzle trigger on and off or off for long while it is running, the motor would be stressed since no water is being released. if you intend to pause for a longer time just turn off the main switch - that way the turbo motor can rest.

try mo sa Bremen Industries (sp?) along shaw...they also sell pressure washers...

Thanks for the post. I've been thinking of buying a complete set of carwash equipment from Clean City in Manila, even though their prices are almost double the prices in Evangelista. I'll just look somewhere else.

Since you used it only once, that hardly qualifies as "normal wear and tear". Maybe they're just trying to get out of replacing the equipment or, worse, returning your money.

Just buy Kärcher (deutch, pron: kercher).

Sometimes, people end up paying more for wanting to pay less.

Yan din yung sa amin.........Karcher. Matagal ko na nabili yun. Go for the well known brands. Kahit pricey, sigurado ka naman.

Mahirap sumubok, kung di "kilala", kahit mura pa yan.

    * Freelancer, ano ba brand nung nabili mo?

I bought my pressure washer from clean city a few years ago. Nakalimuitan ko na yung brand but its the one with yellow and black colors. Italy daw yung high pressure pump and tip. After a few months of use, nagloko na. So binalik ko sa Clean City and I was charge something like 2500 for repairing daw something inside. A few weeks later nagloko uli. Walang pasok nun so i tinkered with the unit myself and discovered that the water inlet filter is a bit dirty. I cleaned it and it worked normally again. I then realized that I was charged 2500 for cleaning the filter only! My fault kasi hindi ko hiningi yung pinalitang pyesa. Lesson learned: Read the manual carefully!
