Modern engines (including diesels) have included anti-pollution devices. Kaso pagdating sa Pilipinas due to outdated thinking and bad habits, tinatanggal. Mahina hatak? DPF, Catalytic converter, thermostat tinatanggal, EGR iba-blank, PCV valve hose, bubunuyin at ive-vent sa labas.

Yung 5 year old innova namin bagsak din sa emissions. Pinalinis muna ng dad ko ung tambutso then pumasa na sa next testing.

In 2002, in a hotel in hongkong where we were staying for a 3 day convention, an hourly update on the tv would remind the public about the "mid year" emission test for their vehicles. That's how strict on how they monitor vehicle emission that affects the air pollution there.
