ano ba talaga ang ibig sabihin ng right of way sa intersection?

Kung andito ka sa 'Pinas, wag mo na isipin yang mga bagay na yan... ire-respect mo nga ang right of way ng iba, pero yung mga kasabay mo dere-deretso pa din -- wa epek!

Maganda lang pakinggan pero generally hindi nasusunod yan EXCEPT kung two-digits lang ang plate number mo or kung na malaking 4X4 SUV ka (like Expedition, Pajero, etc) or kung may excort kang pulis at backup vehicles.... OOPS kasama pala diyan sa exception yung mga armored cars! :evil:

oh, ok...

i had this accident kasi last time sa edsa-tuason intersection... yeah, intersection... and it was sa edsa... highway with really fast moving vehicles... ayun! KABOOM! :cry:

i was from tuason about to cross edsa, there was this speeding taxi along edsa... KABOOM! :cry:

cya ata right of way... no stop light kasi eh kaya right of way na ang pag-uusapan... :oops:

the taxi was perpendicular to my car at nadala nya ko sa sobrang bilis nya...

kaya ayun total wreck harap nya at ako pwede pa naman umandar nun...

since right of way ang subject, ayun palo ako sa bahay...

mga taxi talaga... tapos imagine, yung stop light pa sa edsa wasn't working... deym...

Major thoroughfares have the right of way. Side streets on other hand, busier roads should always be given right of passage.

Kung intersection naman ang usapan, it is still thoroughfare that should be respected. Kung masunurin lang sana tayo dito, dapat yung mga stop signs ang blinking red-lights should be oberserved properly. Kaso na sa pinas ka, kaya hindi ginagawa ito dito sa atin. :|

oo nga, in a perfect world scenario, pag walang traffic light. full stop muna before crossing the intersection...

pagkaalam ko, on an intersection with equal roads, the driver on the right has the right of way ... kaso dito sa pinas, hirap makakita ng road courtesy ... dito sa pinas, green light means GO and yellow means GO FASTER!

full stop naman ako before crossing pero malaki yung edsa-tuason intersection... dahan dahan ako mag cross... coz i know nasa intersection ako... konti na lang naka pasok na ko sa kabilang tuason pero sa sobrang bilis nga ng taxi bigla na lang sya lumitaw!

well, accidents are accidents... :cry:

by the way, not to mention the time--- that happened 5:30 in the morning... tulog pa ata yung taxi driver... tinulungan ko lang cguro sya magising... :roll:

delikado nga yung intersection na yun ... pare-parehong uphill yung mga approaches dun kaya hindi makita agad ang mga crossing vehicles ... tsk tsk
