What are the car modifications that are considered illegal or legal (according to the law)?
From what I know, the following are illegal (correct me if I'm wrong peeps!)
1. Wang-wang or sirens
2. Blinkers
3. Tail lights to a different color other than red
4. Personalized plates / hard to see plates
5. Heavy tint (diba dati bawal ang tint during the Marcos era?)
6. Headlights (I remember someone telling me that this is up to a certain intensity?)
7. Anything else?
I've been reading through the threads, and I'm getting confused, since it appears that what's legal not is overlapping already.
And if its illegal, why do people insist on using / doing it?

Reading through some of the threads here, from what I understand, illegal / wrong modifications become correct and legal, as long as:
1. It benefits the user tremendously. As long as it benefits the user, it is legal and right.
2. One can explain the reason for it at length. As long as one can give several reasons for the illegal mod, then he/she has the right to use / modify it.
3. As long as one does not get caught. (kung pwedeng makalusot, eh why not?)
4. As long as one has the right connections. (I'm the 4th cousin of the Mayor!)
5. No matter how wrong it is, never, ever admit that its wrong. See item number 1 and 2.
Hmm... useless pala ang law dito. The law is only for the gullible and the easy to extort. Acutally, its more of a guide to mulchers. In Mazdamazda's post, I still have to see one get apprehended by those guidelines.
And people wonder why this country's going nowhere.Last edited by Dieseler; April 14th, 2005 at 11:33 AM.

Mazda 3 is incredibly tempting, unfortunately the hybrid is not included in the coding exemption...
