What are the car modifications that are considered illegal or legal (according to the law)?

From what I know, the following are illegal (correct me if I'm wrong peeps!)

    1. Wang-wang or sirens
    2. Blinkers
    3. Tail lights to a different color other than red
    4. Personalized plates / hard to see plates
    5. Heavy tint (diba dati bawal ang tint during the Marcos era?)
    6. Headlights (I remember someone telling me that this is up to a certain intensity?)
    7. Anything else?

I've been reading through the threads, and I'm getting confused, since it appears that what's legal not is overlapping already.

And if its illegal, why do people insist on using / doing it?

Reading through some of the threads here, from what I understand, illegal / wrong modifications become correct and legal, as long as:

    1. It benefits the user tremendously. As long as it benefits the user, it is legal and right.
    2. One can explain the reason for it at length. As long as one can give several reasons for the illegal mod, then he/she has the right to use / modify it.
    3. As long as one does not get caught. (kung pwedeng makalusot, eh why not?)
    4. As long as one has the right connections. (I'm the 4th cousin of the Mayor!)
    5. No matter how wrong it is, never, ever admit that its wrong. See item number 1 and 2.

Hmm... useless pala ang law dito. The law is only for the gullible and the easy to extort. Acutally, its more of a guide to mulchers. In Mazdamazda's post, I still have to see one get apprehended by those guidelines.

And people wonder why this country's going nowhere.

Here's the thing: why can't people just do the right thing?

Kailangan pa bang mahuli, or may threat na ma-apprehend?

Mamamatay ang maraming tao pag hindi nakalamang.

Goes to show what sort of character one has. Obvious na ngang mali, pinipilit pang tama.

ang RAM-AIR bawal lalo na kung headlight ang affected.. huhulihin ka.. pero wala pa ko nadinig na nahuli talaga with a ticket or penalty..

clear tail lights with bright bulbs bawal.. kaso meron pa nga iba nakikita ko may foglights e.. tsaka flasher.. wahehe..

tampered plates bawal.. ex. painted black and white for the porma.. or red and white para mukhang government.. or blue and white para diplomat.. or illegal use of commemorative plate parang ako.. hehe o walang magsusumbong ha.. pag may nagsumbong,... BANG!!! hehe

heavy tint? as far as i know sa public vehicles lang bawal yun.. like taxi's and fx kasi mas madali ma-holdup pag tinted.. di kita ng mga pulis na hinoholdap na pala.. as for the private di kasi maiwasan lalo na pag manyak.. hehe..

sa engine mods ba may bawal? like in the US di ba may restrictions sila ng modifications? si bayani fernando nga gusto ipahuli lahat ng maingay na sasakyan di ba? kaso di yata natuloy.. like mufflers and headers.. NOISE POLLUTION daw..
