very uncalled for ang ginawa ni arigo... (kung totoo man yon) lalo na being a PBA player. alam ko ang PBA hindi nagpapalampas ng ganito parang dati sa mga players na involved sa gulo sa mga bars...
buti nalang yung jannet ay mabait... anu na kaya nangyari dito sa caso na ito?

not meaning to be the devil's advocate, pero nakakainis naman talaga yung lahat ng gas stations na puntahan mo sira yung tire inflater. especially when your tire is losing air fast. why, ilang gas stations na yung napuntahan ko na neglected yung air systems? madami dami na. each and every time (i go pump my own air, thank you very much. no intention of bothering the gas attendants for something so simple...), under the heat of the sun, i'd grasp the dirty hose only to find out the meter's busted, or someone hadn't remembered to turn on the air machine out back. sometimes i feel like ripping the meter out of the wall (let's see if that wipes the smug smile off the gas attendant's face. HA!).
again, not wanting to sound like a total jerk here, pero we pay these guys a lot of money for their fuel and oil products...i think the least they can do is keep their amenities ready for use.

May 8th, 2006 02:26 PM #23ahhh, but are you saying that you gas up everytime you pump air to your tyres? bet not. more often than not you have a flat tyre, you go to the gas station, pump air, then go. you did not pay for gas, oil, or even buy a pack of chewing gum at the store did you? the air and water is free. when there's none then we don't have anything to complain about do we?
the way i see it, the gas stations can always put a sign at the entrance saying "no free air and water, bring your own".

don't you feel a headache come on when that mexican restaurant gives you the delhi belly in the middle of a powerlunch with the big boys, then you hit the kubeta only to find there's no paper towels and no water, and instead a sign that reads: sorry mate, gotta bring yer own.
point: some businesses are expected to provide you with some value added services at no additional cost. in this case it's air and water from gas stations. yes sir, i ask for a receipt each time i gas up so when i hit the air station i'd have something to show when i use a goodly amount of air, because, yep, beleive it or not, i've been asked before whether i was a customer. sucks to live in the 3rd world.

May 10th, 2006 11:11 AM #25kadalasan kaya sira ang mga air systems ng mga gas stations eh dahil na din sa mga gumagamit nito na di marunong...yung iba pagkatapos gumamit eh basta basta na lang bibitawan ang air hose...ayun nasagasaan na yung dulo ng hose...yupi...mahal pa naman yung tansong yun...sa simpleng air hose lang ito ha...
kahit gaano kasipag mag maintain ng gasoline station ang may-ari nito eh masisira at masisira pa rin iyan hangga't mayroon gamol na gumagamit nito...di rin ganun kabilis magpagawa ng mga air systems na ito lalo na yung dial type na ubod ng mahal...
epal pala itong si John Arigo...sana sa kotse na lang nya ipinukpok yung golf club nya...kung ako may-ari ng shell station na iyon eh baka pinaputukan ko pa sya ng shotgun sa gwuardya namin habang pinupukpok nya iyong air system
