The Traffic Management Group (TMG) on Thursday night announced the recovery of ABS-CBN television host Iya Villania's stolen vehicle in Quezon City, DZMM reported.
Chief Superintendent Augusto Angcanan, TMG director, said Villania's black Nissan Patrol (XPP-232) was recovered after operatives mounted intensified intelligence gathering for the stolen vehicle.
Villania's vehicle taken by two motorcycle-riding armed men on November 6 while it was parked at the corner of Sgt. Esguerra Avenue and Eugenio Lopez Drive in Quezon City.
Angcanan said the vehicle was recovered during a police bust operation in Narra Street in Quezon City. He said undercover policemen found the vehicle after entering into a deal with a car dealer.
Aside from Villania's vehicle, police also recovered a red BMW Z3 convertible sports car in the automotive shop.
Angcanan did not identify the car dealer. He said the suspect is under investigation.
DZMM was able to interview the unidentified car dealer. He said apart from the vehicles recovered, three more cars were handed to him by a certain Jay-Jay delos Santos.
He said delos Santos asked him to sell or lease the vehicles. He also said that delos Santos is a scion of the owner of the Delos Santos Hospital in Manila.
Police are now verifying if the other cars in the automotive shop were also carjacked.
yari yung me ari ng de los santos medical center hehehe.... kilala ko pa naman ang ibang mga anak nito.

That's good news! Nga lang, pag kilala kang tao, lutas agad and kaso. Pag tayong mga pangkaraniwang mamamayan, God knows when... Nakakalunkot din...

This is good news. However the sad part is that it seems that TMG will only work hard to retrieve (or release - since some people hint that it is also them who carjack your car???) your vehicle if you are popular or your carnap / carjack incident reached the news.
Double standard pa rin dito.
At least, this is still good news. I hope TMG get encouraged to do more of this.

It's not good news if these TMG people will only do their job if the victim is a popular person.
in good condition pa rin ba yung patrol when recovered?
Signature

congrats to TMG....but then again, ang ideal sana eh minimized if not zero out carnap/carjacking. instead of shouting for the recovered car-jacked/napped vehicles.
