Teka lang, ano yung stove lights?

    BTT:

Along Lacson Ave, heavy traffic. Only 2 lanes are useable because parked jeepneys are blocking the road. An ambulance behind me couldn't pass through. Tsk tsk.

I used to hate having to give way to them, especially when they're empty. But then, perhaps they could just be on the way to the emergency.

What I concern myself with instead are those hangers-on who trail the ambulance. That's the line I try to disrupt. You'll know who's probably really in convoy with the ambulance because of the way they stick to it (although as Doc Otep mentioned, this shouldn't be the case, which is why you have a relative or companion in the ambulance with the patient), but then you'll notice those who just happen to tail it with hazards on to save some time.

    Lagyan? OO basta maisipan.

Yellow lane andaming private and public utility na ginagamit yan pag traffic na.

Even the idiotic bus drivers cross the yellow lane pag gusto nila.

Pero yung susundin ng lahat as dedicated lane for emergency? i don't think so.

    pag traffic na anything goes.

Scenario: bumper to bumper traffic how can we expect all vehicles vacate a specific lane immediately?

    so BTT

Lets just give way, to ambulance / any emergency vehicles

    mas simple diba?

Same here, i always give way when the wang wang is on. Si Lord na bahala sa mga abusado.

Back when i was still jogging, i always see this ambulance with its wang wang blaring -- always, as in every time i jog, at around 8am.

i also recall reading a James Deakin's column in C! a few years ago; he followed this wang-wanging, counterflowing ambulance sometime in December. Yun pala nag dedeliver ng lechon sa barangay Christmas party.i hope they choked on it.

Same here. I always give way even if i have my doubts on the intent of the ambulance and i try to cut the line of those who try to follow closely.

BTT: Just always give way to those emergency vehicles.

Benefit of the doubt na lang... We'll never know baka totoong emergency na yung di natin pagbigyan.

Ako, I just tell to myself that these guys in one way or another have save lives through their driving. Does this give them the right to abuse their wang wang?

Kunsensya na nila yun if they abuse the use of the sirens or not.

Basta ako pag may ambulansya, tabi. Baka mamaya may pasahero pala di ka tumabi. You'll never know. Wont take too much of your time naman

Basta emergency vehicles I give way. Tama, it won't take much of your time, paglusot nya, back to chill driving ulit. Kunsensya na ng driver yun if abuso sya sa siren or not, balang araw babalik din sa kanya. What you sow is what you reap ika nga.

I think there should be a law to penalize these abusive ambulance drivers. Madali lang ito. Just take videos using a car DVR or camphone, share it on FB and it will easily get media attention.
