Nope because almost all taxi drivers are balasuba, pero mali ginawa ng expe guy maybe he is one of those PUV driver haters. Naiinis din ako sa mga yan pati mga pedicab na nagka counter flow kahit na bumper to bumper na trapik eh pipilit parin nila.

Sa Manila, wala kaming magawa dito pero tiisin yung mga kapalpakan ng Mayor at Traffic burea. Kung meron lang silang political will, mapapaalis yung mga pedicab at kuliglig.

81 years old na kasi si Mayor. Di na ata alam anong nangyayari sa paligid niya. Dapat alagaan na lang siya ng mga apo niya. Senile dementia na kasi.

the taxi driver doesn't deserve to be beaten up, balasubas man siya or hindi. its a pity if he's one of the good guys trying to earn a decent living for his family.

as for the exped guy, may araw din yan. maybe one day he'll be the victim and not the aggressor.

Exped driver intoxicated + patience very small or non at all + "hulk hogan" body look-alike = grenade launcher ready to fire & explode!!

Especially in a traffic altercation like this.. So sad to hear the poor taxi driver got beaten up + injuries sustained from shattered glass window.. I hope he immediately filed a complaint and gather people's help who witnessed the incident. And the "Hulkster" needs a punishment...

He have done this just because he's driving an Exped? or is it because he's Big and got an intimidating looks? Or was it because he was challenged by a mere fact that he was investigating his supposed collision with a pedicab then suddenly someone honked at him as is saying, " Hoy kumag, itabi mo sasakyan mo at hindi kami makadaan"! because this has happened to me when i figured out in a small collision incident as well in a busy mainroad like manila probably 3x already ... nakakainit nga ng ulo diba pag alam naman nilang may nangyari ( or hindi pa) then suddenly bubusinahan ka para sabihin na "itabi niyo muna iyan" hehe.. Then he thinks (hulkster) it was his call!.. and so the poor cab driver got his attention.. i hope he get his justice..

No one deserves a beating like that no matter who ever he/she is.. (pero pwedeng daanin sa UFC kung kaya )

baka naman nakatagpo lang ng katapat yung taxi driver? balasubas din kasi karamihan sa kanila ... kaya ayun ang katapat nila, lasing na expedition driver

this is not fair. . .walang nabanggit na ginawang masama yung victim na taxi driver either in this incident or in any part of his life in the past, bakit sya aakusahin? it's the expedition's driver ang kontrabida dito

May mali man o wala yung taxi driver, beating the guy will not justify such act. Besides, whats wrong if the car in your behind blew his horn? Was it excessive?

The SUV guy is full of ego and needs to be taught a lesson..... Ipasok na sa kalaboso ya-an at ng maturbo at ng maramdaman niya yung ginawa niya sa Taxi driver. :banana3:

If anybody encounters these type of persons, what should they do?

Escape the scene ASAP. Wouldn't really care on who or what will I ram into.

If drunken driver destroy's your window/windshield/side mirrors/etc, what should the driver do and will insurance be applied?

If the guy is still conscious enough to spot for the suspect's plate no. he should report it ASAP to the police.

And, i know this is off-topic, but is there a way to make the glass shatter-proof so it cannot be broken by stones and drunkard's fists?

If he did that to a private vehicle and the victim/driver shot him, bawal ba yun?

Pwede na yan... magastos nga lang.

Syempre may kaya yung family ng exped guy kaya magkikita kayo sa court. Pagalingan na lang kayo ng lawyer. You have all the elements necessary to argue self-defense, ang problema lang yung force na ginamit mo to repel the assault. After all, he was just using his fist, bakit lalabasan mo ng bakal? Yan ang sasabihin ng lawyer nila.

Ang lawyer mo namn will be arguing: ang laking tao nun, pag nahawakan na ko nun at naunahan may laban pa ba ko? Then you will get certificates that you have hypertension or a heart condition to make you look more helpless.

Pagalingan ng lawyer and pray the judge sympathizes with your plight. But in the end, tulad ng sabi ng mga gun owners, mas mabuti nang malagay sa dyaryo kesa matakpan ng dyaryo.

tama... ang puno't dulo nyan ay bakit kasi pinapayagan ang mga pedicab at tricycle na mag counter flow. dito na lang sa amin ay may one way street na pwede sumalubong kung tricycle at pedicab ka. kainis kasi sasagutin ka pa ng "naghahanap buhay ang tao" pag sinita mo pero alam ba nila na tayo ay naghahanap buhay din pero sumusunod pa rin tayo sa traffic law? mga g&&*^$ na yan.
