BGC car accident... SUV hit a pregnant lady then hit another car

Saw this in top gear.. I always encounter speeding SUVs and Vans in BGC. They don't care about pedestrians or other cars, basta makasingit lang. Minsan iniisip ko dapat ipagbawal yung mga may car chase films sa PH. Kala kase ng ibang driver action star sila or sila yung kontrabida sa pelikula. Nakaka bawas ba ng pagkalalaki ang magbigay sa kalsada or sumunod sa traffic.

totally agree bro. at kapag dahan dahan ka sangkaterbang flash ng headlights makukuha mo. pero ung takbo mo naman tama lang sa allowable speed limit nung area. at kung maka-cut grabe. kamusta na kaya ung preggy na nabangga foreigner daw eh

Not an expert, but based on the shadows from the buildings, it took a while before the lady got any medical attention. Foreigner pa kamo yung unang lumapit.

wala pa update sa TGP sir, down daw system nila, di na daw kaya ung traffic sa site nila. pero paano kaya nangyari yung pagbangga sa babae, natagilid na ung fortuner pero halos katabi lang nung fort yung girl. meaning nahagip lang ba? at hindi tumilapon ung girl?

My non-expert theory:
- mr fast n furious tried tried to pass the other car on the right
- tried to avoid lady, hits the other car on the right side, which rolls over
- lady gets clipped

One witness says it was only about fifty meters from the previous intersection... the guy was really gunning it.

Too bad for the driver, he was driving a Fortuner. He can't claim it was sudden unintended acceleration.

according to the witness the fortuner hit another car before running over the pregnant lady on the cross walk

You can't really speed up on that area because the roads have short distances apart and there are many people crossing (near the bench bldg) What the hell was that person thinking. I hope the pregnant lady is okay.

gee i feel sorry for the pregnant women. I hope the mother & the baby are both safe from danger. most probably driver yan,gaya ng sinabi ko earlier halos lahat ng driver ganyan ang asal sa road walang paki at barumbado pa. palibhasa di kanila ang car at lola nag di sila nagbabayad ng gasoline.
