that is my worry as well, baka malabo, 14k is a big money to gamble... kaya last priority ko ito.

but this has high beam for sure, Northcustoms has a reputation. I also see this product on Amazon.com priced just similar...

    Bi-Xenon

    High

judging from a pic, medyo mahina nga low beam niya, the high beam looks enough though. but the brightness is exags from the reflecting wall... but photos are not enough to make a final conclusion.

Btw, we can ask Batang Raon, I believe that is what he used for his retrofit on his ride.

Ebay link pala. same as northcustoms retrofit:

kagabi lang I was able to take a pic of retrofitted Projector on a CRV, I was almost very impressed kung wala lang kulang at sobra sa aiming...

Left eyes, medyo mababa, Right eyes, medyo mataas. haha...

    CRV older Gen:

you just affirmed what I saw. Latest Gen CRV nga yung nakita ko.

kahit projector, glare parin. I think a little nod is required for projector basta upgrade to HID. I believe CRV is still factory aimed for halogen. so you need to make extra nod clearance specialy on our roads that are uneven... unless BMW's yan...

take note, isang bulb lang ang umi-ilaw. ano pakaya kung dalawa?

this is due to undervoltage protection kaya hindi nag-ignite ang other bulb when it started up...

When someone on my back has non regulation HIDs, i usually go on the side and let them overtake me.

Then i give them a taste of their own medicine. High light + Fog lights. How you like me now?

i dont find foglight glaring when someone is using it while following me.

I just flip up my rear view mirror when this happens.

As for incoming high-beamers/HID retrofits, somebody in the forums said that it's best to just look at the road on the other side, rather than blast them with highbeams - the logic behind being that the other driver will still be aware of the surroundings, minimizing the risk of a head on crash if he gets blinded too. Yun nga lang minsan sobrang nakakasilaw talaga

IMHO, if you guys want to go to the projector route, I'd suggest grabbing the OEM pieces such as the assemblies from a 3rd Gen CR-V, Camry, Acura TSX, TL, etc., and have it retrofitted. The OEM pieces perform a lot better than the aftermarket pieces.

Kung naka reflector headlamps na nilagyan lang ng HID kit failed naman kaagad dahil sa lakas ng glare.

Can it be corrected with proper aiming?

    * TS salute to you bro I hate this blinding HID's on the road

kaya ba malakas ang glare ay dahil white/bluish ang color? what if 4300K ang ilagay?

i've inquired sa c34x4.com di naman daw gaaano nakakasilaw sa kasalubong.

parang enticed ako to give it a try on my innova.
