Gun sa loob ng car

Sino po dito owns a gun and brings it with him/her pero never brought outside the car? Ano po law regarding this po? Does one need to secure permit to carry maski sa loob lang ng car ang gun? Thanks!

PTC is required to bring it outside ur house. Car is not considered as extension of ur home afaik. 5k/yr PTC last time i checked. i just keep mine * home, mahirap kng mapasukan kotse at makuha pa baril.

Another option is when you join a Gun club that would give you permit to transport from your house to the range. But ofcourse pag nahuli ka there would be some technicalities that they could argue with you.

on my way home from work i got pulled over sa roxas blvd ng mobile. they searched my car and found my gun under my seat. rats! i thought ok lang thinking car is extension of house and glad to have brought my license since lipat ko lagi both from car to car pag coding. before i could say "sir" this cop was reading me my rights! next thing i knew, i was riding the back of their mobile, had medical exam conducted sa ospital ng maynila with cuffs for people to see! ignorance of the law is really never an excuse talaga. lesson learned, buti na lang not the hard way!

una visual inspection muna kung private vehicle... kapag nakita nila ang baril mo from outside dun ka na papababain...

You are correct, the police cannot search your car without your permission....If you let them inspect when they asked you to then pwede na. But if you will not allow it then hangang visual lang sila.....now if there is evidence that you are hiding something like when they see the butt of your gun then may right na sila to have a thorough search. They can also do a search when your car make and color is naka "alarma" as in like odells. Oh and one more thing....NEVER...EVER bring your gun inside your car without a proper PTC or PTT.........your car is not and will never be an extension of your house....and that's a fact. HTH

as much as i wanted to assert talaga...ang hirap pala kuha lakas loob pag pulis na kaharap mo. mmda nasisigawan ko pa pero iba pulis, tingin ko dyan sa mga yan papatayin ka with the slightest resistance. hindi naman lahat syempre ganun, i know madami talaga ok pa naman, but these guys were hoodlums talaga. iba...

Dapat visual lang. And pag search dapat isa lang and make sure dapat one door at a time. Kwento ng brother ko. One time while driving along araneta Avenue may nag check point na pulis at pinara brother ko. Ang sabi ng pulis "eto yun" "ikaw yung nag wawangwang" which is wala naman kami nun. the bwaya still insisted daw. then sudden change of statement "O cige labas mo na baril mo" which is wala din naman. Than sa sobrang kulit talaga and madaming pulis nakapalibot sa kanya sympre baka banatan sya dun wala sya magagawa. Buksan daw trunk sabi ng pulis na matulis. Baba sya tpos lock all doors tapos tsempo ng kotse parating tapos bukas ng trunk ng konti lang basta makita lang.

exactly! talo ka pa rin talaga pag nag-laban ka sa kanila. batas yun e! sayang lang talaga pera, pero di bale iwas gulo na lang talaga, plus yung record sa pangalan mo.

Yup...

Ang problem ay hindi ka pwede mag reklamo kasi in the first place may evidence na sila sa iyo. Kapag umabot yan sa korte, pwede naman nila sabihin na nakita nila yung dulo ng baril sa kotse mo during the visual inspection kaya ka pinababa.

important thing is, be wary of them planting 'stuff' in ur car, mahrap yan

ano nangyari sa brother mo? buti di sya sinaktan ng mga yun! akin dun, iwas gulo talaga. alam ko rin mali yung inareglo ko yun pero ibang klase talaga feeling ko. buti 28k lang napilit ko...i had 43k dala ko sa bag ko. tanong pa sakin, "may gas ba yan auto mo? baka maka-withdraw ka pera sa banko!" hanep! sabi ko wala pera talaga.

dont get me wrong though, sobrang disciplined ako sa road. maski mukhang pang asar handle ko e sobrang good boy ako...lalo na sa kalsada. the gun is for work talaga and for protection na rin pero sobrang soooobrang last resort ko na yun. i guess ptc is the way to go. never intend to bring the gun via backpack, holster, etc. yun din nga pala, bukas kotse din pala delikado pag iwan lang sa loob valuables.
