General Traffic within Ortigas Ext., C5 and Pasig

wtf umalis ako ng 6:30 sa bahay (taytay) para hindi mahuli
pag daan ko sa pinagbuhatan amp traffic na.
tapos nagtry ako mag stella mariz to c5 amp ganun din!!!

bale bumalik (umuwi ako sa bahay ulet) nag wait ng 11 am
hoping na nag ease na yung traffic. amp pag daan ko sa floodway
(pasig greenpark) di na rin gumagalaw yung mga sasakyan!!!

umuwi nako hindi nako pumasok ng work amp
grabe talaga... sabi nila 400 trucks of relief goods ang nakalinya sa
EDSA going to Bicol via (southsuperhiway) kaya daw

Took me almost an hour to get from Brgy Pineda in Pasig (lapit sa mga motel) to Fort Bonifacio. May bumangga na trailer sa u-turn slot after Kalayaan. As usual nonexistent ang mga buwaya.

Sobra nga today, usually takes me 20mins from my place to the office... Kanina judging from Libis to my office took me 45 mins! Di pa rush hour yun, 1145 ako nasa libis, 1240 na ako dumating ng emerald!

Friend ko umalis ng 7am sa may Countryside area mga 830 wala pa sya sa rosario!

Pero marami sa officemates ko ang late. Their reasons - grabe ang traffic.

hay naku, i've lived in that area my whole life. i always tell my friends that ortigas ave ext is the traffic capital of the phils. my friends and officemates often think na b.s. when i tell them how traffic is sa ortigas ave.

pag wala ako sa mood magexcercise sa umaga, umaalis ako 5:15 am para makaiwas sa traffic kasi after that, medyo may build up na --and my colleagues here in the office won't believe me. kaya i prefer leaving 3:00am para mag-cycling muna and then head for the office after taking a shower at ultra, and then i leave the office mga 2 or 3pm para iwas traffic din.

just mid november naghukay ang mwss jan sa may riverside hanggang de castro. binalik nga nila yung asphalt pero half-assed naman yung pag-gawa. mas masagwa pa ang lubak ngayon kesa nung tag-ulan.

pero this is still much better than when it used to take 3 hours from crossing, mandaluyong to rosario in pasig! i think that was in the early 90s nung hinukay yung buong ortigas ave ext from junction to lifehomes hehe.

It took me more than 1.5 hours to get from Toyota Libis to The Fort!

Grabe talaga

My kids regularly leave the house at 6:30AM and arrived at Lourdes school of manadaluyong around 7AM. My son called us at 8:30AM complaining that they are still at Maybunga/stella maris. Finally they get through meter by meter and arrived at school at 10AM. Their other school mates wala pa sa school.

Nag pa late ako pumasok hoping that by 10AM mag ease na traffic but to mu surprise grabe pa rin. I reached the office in Pioneer Mandaluyong around 11:45AM. My other office mate coming from Q.C. via C5 wala pa rin and others opt to go malling to while away the stressfull morning..Grabe talaga.

lalo na nung nilagyan nang harang ang tapat nang riverside hindi ka pwede tumawid kailangan may U turn kapa sa Ever para makapunta ka rosario or sa may gasoline station kung galing kang junction.

pucha ang tagal tagal it take 30mins para lang makalusot sa ever.

pansin ko nga matagal yun traffic kanina. i was at the office at around 720am, the traffic eased up in along ortigas in front of the LTO cainta (as seen from my office window) by 1130am.

Anyone found out why the traffic was so bad?

There was a stalled truck just before the U-TURN slot after the C5-Kalayaan intersection.
When I got passed the truck, the front side had a big dent. I don't know if that dent was caused by an accident. Wala naman akong nakitang debris near the truck.
The stalled truck occupied the left most 2.5 lanes of C5.
By the time I got there, MMDA had already opened a counterflow lane at the opposite northbound lane of C5.
