And you don't pay directly sa MMDA, dapat sa LTO magbabayad at di sila pwede magconfiscate ng license.

Sir, nagoyo at nakotongan po yung wife nyo. Kung reckless driving ang violation nya (kung meron man), P1k lang yan for the first offense. Kaya hindi nagbigay ng tiket kasi mapipilitan silang i-remit yung kinuha nilang pera (In the first place, they are not allowed to collect money from the motorist. Only issue tickets). Kaya siguro nakapanggoyo yung MMDA enforcers kasi sinabi ng wife nyo na taga-province sya. Inisip nilang, madaling lokohin to.

How sad to hear that another motorist became a victim of this menace in the street...This is a plain and simple modus operandi Why? because:

    1. MMDA enforcer are not allowed to apprehend in groups.
    2. MMDA should explain what violation and should be according to LTO violation.
    3. Seminar because of violation! This violation is only for over speeding / beating the red light.
    4. Primary task of MMDA is to assist trapik / accident happened in the area.

If there are some enforcer who we think try to harassed motorist, we can call the hotline and an MMDA investigating officer will be on the way. Don't let this menace in uniform victimized us...

    ah...hinde sila nagkaintidihan...hehehe

    MMDA targets bribe-offering motorists
    By Allison Lopez

MANILA, Philippines—Starting this week, motorists with traffic violations can no longer count on their money to get them out of trouble.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced Sunday that it would suspend the license of drivers caught bribing traffic enforcers.
MMDA Chair Bayani Fernando said in a statement that aside from prosecuting enforcers who accept bribes, the agency would also punish motorists who offer money just to escape being given a traffic violation receipt.
“Along with our campaign to cleanse our ranks of corrupt enforcers who extort money from motorists, we are also going after errant drivers who think that they can always evade the law by offering bribes to enforcers who catch them,” Fernando said in Filipino.
He warned that first-time offenders would have their driver’s license suspended for six months.
For second-time offenders, however, their driver’s license will be revoked.
MMDA General Manager Robert Nacianceno said the campaign against bribe-offering drivers would start this week.
“We received reports that the first offer comes from the one being apprehended. That’s the reality of it,” he told the Inquirer.
He noted that usually, when an erring motorist hands his license over to an enforcer, there are already bills of money tucked inside the case.
“They’re equally responsible. With this, our enforcers can seize their license. Remember, it’s a criminal offense to [offer a] bribe,” Nacianceno added.
At the same time, he reminded drivers not to use the calling cards of MMDA officials to get away with a violation.

Same thing happened to me with that fat ass Pasay Police going to WTC, the one under the bridge. That's gonna be the first and last time his kinds are going to stop and pressure me when clearly I did nothing wrong.

We should be vigilant and learn how to fight and defend our selves, people.

I say complain that you were mislead, extorted and blackmail. Report this, be sure to relay the place and the name of the traffic aid.

Sir, you are promoting corruption if you say it that way. That's one of the factors why those kinds of people are prevalent in our country. I advice you to not to repeat nor say anything like this.

Though you're right, puwede siya ipahuli but with a proper lawyer or explanation of the misunderstanding that happened I am sure she will be in no harm.

The answer to that is a big, HINDE.. If you look at LTO list of violations dapat hinde. Kunin mo name ng enforcer at ID number plus the place you got caught and report it to the MMDA head office. If municipal Police, report it to the City hall or nearest police station. Pag wala ginawa mag set ka ng appointment or just barge in to the Mayor's office.

Base on PD1605 court order yan since 1991 or 1990 ata.
You have the right to know and complain since you're a tax payer.

Pwede.
