Sometimes the blame can be placed on the size of the parking stall. I'm pretty sure you will have noticed that the space is barely enough for a subcompact. The minimum width his eight feet and the length at fifteen feet. It is preferable that there be two lines eighteen inches apart between two stalls. In the case of a full size sedan or full size station wagon, the tires would be at the lines using the common philippine parking stall

It's the tow hitch that bore the brunt of the damage. That's pretty solid a piece.

Ano kaya reaction nung may-ari nung car pag balik niya? Kung di dahil sa CCTV, baka makalusot yung pick up coz di gaanong obvious na siya ang tumira.

If only people practice courtesy that would not even lead to this thread. Courtesy is contagious but not to many Filipinos. The "pwede na yan", the "bahala na" and the walang pakialam are the worst Filipino traits. Specially the politicians and their voters. If people only practice civility, we would have a clean, safe, beautiful and a country anyone wants to live in. Look at china, pollution is so grave that even newborns wear a mask and they are trying to invade pristine areas to claim their own . It was said before : you do not sh;t in your living room

But the squatter population is a politician's asset to get elected. Most of these people are less educated and are fanatics, just add a little cash and you have their vote

That would be ideal sana. Kaso that would only be a dream. We just have to grin and bear it. Pag nawalan ng voting rights mga non tax payers maaayos na bansa natin.

I have a college batchmate that posted her stupidity, or should I say arrogance in a social media site. She captioned it 'Park like a boss!', where she parked their ford expedition diagonally, eating parts of the lanes on its left and right. Yung mga nagcomment naman pinuri pa. She said in the comments that she never bothered to fix it since its an expedition. I honestly never thought those kind of arrogance from someone like her that graduated with a high degree from very known school, with a very sophisticated family and even having to know her personally. Apparently sometimes courtesy fades when you know you are the alpha.

screw her. but i must admit that if your driving a full size suv parking is toublesome, most parking lots can barely fit a full size suv, but that is not a reason for you or me to act like a jerk

^Agree, you have to pick your spots when parking a more than 5 meter long vehicle. The problem in her case is that its an open parking with more than enough space. Di naman ganun ugali nya nung college. Di nako nagcomment kasi magiging KJ ako. Anyway, people always change. If they changed for the worse, I agree, screw them.

I used an expedition during coding or storms when I was in college. I never took two slots, but I always took the slots that are easy to get out of and sometimes the proffessor's slots . Admittedly it is a challenge to park properly, having a big car makes you learn all about the larger slots in a parking building and etc.

Taking a picture and posting it in social media however screams noveau rich social climber

I used to have a '99 Expedition. It might be smaller in comparison to the current Expeditions, but it's not that much smaller. It's also about the size of a Grand Starex. Though I've probably used its heft to get thru traffic a bit more easily especially with those f-ck*#$* buses, parking it is another story.

Yes, the first option should be to look for a slot that will allow you to NOT park like an a$$hole, but will allow you not to be boxed in by perhaps the prick who'd park next to/near you like an *$$hole. If that's not available after having done your due diligence in finding such a slot, at least take up the least amount of room on the adjacent slot.

If the slot's just right for a sedan, chances are, the vehicle's width would make it go on the line. I think sensible folks here would agree, by looking at the circumstances, one would see that there was effort undertaken to park properly, but the slots were too tight and the vehicle too wide. But hell, parking diagonally?! Sinususian at sinasaksak ang gulong niyan!

4 na ang camera ng full size chevy suv ko at ang pinakamalakng parking lot na naparkan ko ay sa office building in accralaw tower bgc saktong sakto lang sa line kulang pa para lumabas ka pag may katabi ka no choice but to park it one sided but the best solution is to use japanese vehicle, ang maganda lang naman pag nafullsize suv is comfort, no noise, less vibration.... pero driving is a hassle since it's big hence you really need to forsee stuff and calculate though it is responsive and steering is unusually light

dont act like an arse and good stuff is bound to happen, pag bumababa pa nga ako kuya tawag ko sa guard tapos madaming thank you and tip

Marami pala tayong similarities bro Haha. I used to have an 02 expedition din. That thing is a pain in the ass to park... Not because of the length, but the girth is really not tailored to our roads, much more our parking slots. Having a car like that is more of a novelty, plenty of liabilities like gas bills :D:D and parking woes to name a few. Our current gs is narrower by just a bit than the Expe.

Don't you just love those people who park stupidly?
