Do people discriminate against old cars?

I think people discriminate iyung sa appearance ng kotse. Actually ako mas bilib pag nakita kong luma iyung kotse pero well maintained. Nakikita ko na talagang car lover iyung mayari at saludo ako sa kanya. Ngayon kung laspag iyung kotse, daming gasgas at bunggo tapos luma, iisipin kong gangster.. hahaha

Sa mga bebot naman, I think it's the same thing. Pero ang nakikita ko naman sa kanila is iyung comfort naman ang habol nila. Kahit luma yan, pero well maintained, malinis, maganda iyung aircon, I don't see any reason bakit hindi sila sasakay.

Mas ok nga sakin pag restored ang oto. Para bang blast from the past. Hehehe. And nakakamangha kung iisipin mo kung gaano kadaming effort ang binigay nung owner para maabot yung ganung state.

I also paid in full for the Sonata. My family isn't really a fan of installment especially if we can get better deals with cash. The rule is kinda like "kung may pera, buy it na! Kung wala, wait until you can buy it with cash".. we've been taught to be wary of credit.

As for whether I discriminate against older cars, deep down inside, I think I'll answer yes. But I think it's due to the tendency of our old cars to be whacked (aka in need of maintenance) rather than the year of the car itself.

On the otherhand, I'd rather drive our 1998 Toyota Camry versus my mom's 2002 Toyota Altis. Why? Eh yun kotse ng nanay ko may ipis dati sa roofliner eh *trauma*
