Even if there is no complainant, me thinks there is still a criminal case here. The mere fact that it seems the truck didn't stop to check what happened and kept on going is a case in itself (leaving the scene of an accident).

Do we just leave it at that, bahala na Diyos sa kanya?

I don't think the occupants of that truck even knew there was someone below the truck. They'll just think they ran over a piece of wood or something.

After witnessing the guy trying to jump in front of them just a few moments earlier?

I guess that's possible. Or could be they just didn't care. We can see from the video the truck slowing down and the helper waving the guy off from his window.

True though, if the guy really wanted to off himself he would have found another way. I just think the driver, who we can relate to as drivers also, could have avoided the whole thing had he stopped. My sympathy goes to the driver.

Reminds me of how my sister was run over by a dump truck many years ago. Her legs got broken & doctors had to put a metal thing on her bones. (She's ok naman now.) Well good thing the wheels passed on her legs not on her stomach or head. The driver also didn't know he ran over someone until people around shouted & poited it to him.

Kung mapansin nyo.. lagpas na yung truck sa tao... kaya siguro hindi na sya nag brake kasi nga nasa side na nya.. ang kaso yung tao hinabol pa yung truck para sumuot sa ilalim

his local version here in metro manila, chose his "victims" well.
kotse lang o van, at may-kayang owner-driver (in his opinion).
hindi dambuhalang trak driven by a paid driver..

ilinapag yata nung tao yung katawan niya sa harap ng gulong, expecting the driver to stop.
unfortunately, the driver did not see him, as the truck was too large.

i agree.
it's a waste of everyone's time.
and it might even be used to wring some cash from an already dry stone.
