Counterflow Specialists...

Masarap din ang may plastic fender flares because you can 'hit' other vehicles to a certain extent without causing any damage to yours. hehehe. Puchang mga counterflowers iyan. Dati may binato ako ng basura sa sobrang asar ko. hehehe.

When I drive, I try to leave some space between my vehicle and the one I'm trailing which makes me the usual victim of these counterflow "specialists". Sometimes I'll let them "insert" themselves because I pity the incoming traffic. But sometimes, when I'm annoyed and I'm driving an old car, I wont let them thru at all.

Inuunahan ko nalang... when I see a "counterflow" specialist in my mirror, I edge out halfway, as if I'm about to counterflow, and then stop. I leave enough room for incoming traffic, but not for him... :D

I also leave a space in front of me when I'm in traffic. It gives me maneuvering room to either block like that, or make them slow down by me and get stuck in oncoming traffic. :lol:

Kapag hindi ko binibitawan yung Stebel Nautilus, parang nawawalan sila ng gana sumingit.

May Everest kasi na nagcounterflow sa Tagaytay. Nung may kasalubong na bigla akong inipit. Hindi ko na binitawan yung Stebel. Halos nakalahati ko yata yung isang track sa CD player. Nagagalit na yung nasa passenger seat kasi pinagtitinginan na sila ng mga tao [siyempre malakas ang Stebel!] and sila ang cause ng traffic. Nakaka-stress kasi yung tunog ng Nautilus lalo na kung naka-continuous.

Ako naman nilakasan ko na lang radio ng konti and tuloy pa din kami sa aming kwentuhan ni Kumander. Yung mga sakay ng Everest parang na-higblood na sa kasama nilang engot na driver. Pano ba naman kasi, bumusina na din yung kasalubong nilang bus! hahahaha.

If its me, I'll just give out a few short bursts from the horn and, depending on the situation, leave no space for the counterflow specialists. You dont know what kind of person inside the counterflowing vehicle is like (and it could a deranged gun totting manic). Call me a "chicken little" but I dont want to create a scene or agitate an already pressured driver of the counterflow vehicle. Remember the infamous incident bet. Rolito Go and Dennis Magwan? oh my god! i could be that driver youre cursing and dying to kill cause i caused the nasty traffic (which i try not to,i still, somehow feel the sentiments of other drivers) all becoz i didnt obey proper rules...tsk tsk tsk
teka have a little mercy on me, even if i do counterflow i see to it that i wont cause further traffic, like theveed had said what wrong would remain a mistake and can never be correct

OT:panu pla kung ambulance? or emergency like doctors needed badly? why does PSG and escorts cut and counterflow? sometimes ago nun patrol pa yun car namin i tail ng security patrols cars so sobrang alang traffic from san miguel to concepcion ata yun, tama ba or ok lang ba tail them? why can they do such odd stuff that we taxpayers cant?

I drive for my wife, who is also a doctor, and even though she has had her share of emergency cases, I have never used that as an excuse to violate traffic rules. I despise counterflowing vehicles --anong akala nila, mas importante ang oras nila kaysa sa oras ko?! There are cell phones and hospital residents to help in the task of patient care until the doctor arrives.

Now, if it's an ambulance or a fire truck with its siren on, then by all means, I give way and let it pass. But those &%^$*#*#!! PSG vehicles and the police escorts of politicians, hindi ko pinapadaan yan. Kung gusto nila ng mabilis na biyahe, gumawa sila ng mas magandang kalsada. Otherwise, they should know how the common people, who pay for their salaries, are suffering from the rotten and poorly-maintained roads that they have built.
