On the contrary, I take it as a sign that there are still a lot of drivers here who don't deserve their licenses.

    IMO.

if you are travelling between 60-90 kph along EDSA you could easily spot & avoid those.

yeah, there's no way you'd hit it if you are below 90 kph and of sound mind.

for me... hindi yun barrier ang tanggalin.... yun u-turn mismo dapat ang tanggalin... where in the world have you seen a u-turn in the middle of a high-way? where? only in the philippines!

I think it would benefit us motorists if they put some sort of reflector on the concrete barriers, kulang minsan yung mga street lights specially in the wee hours.

tingin ko naman both may kasalanan. some motorists for driving too fast (or under the influence) and MMDA for neglecting to put early warning devices (ie. reflectors) para mas madaling makita. sa daytime walang problema kasi madali talaga makita pero pag gabi kahit alam mong may barrier minsan mahirap pa din makita eh.

saka dapat hindi concrete yung nasa harap. it should either be sand boxes, water filled plastic drums or old rubber tyres. less damage (and danger) in the event of a collision.

yun nga lang nanakawin naman yung sand or plastic drums or someone will burn the tyres. haaay pilipinas!
