Colorum Ambulance??????

Just found this while surfing Youtube.com. It's not exactly new (dated '95) but I'm still not sure if the problem has been addressed already:

seriously, mali talaga kasi buhay ang pinaglalaruan nila dito,tsaka hanep talaga dito sa atin, pati ba naman ambulansiya hindi pinatawad at kinokolorum pa,kilabutan naman sana yung mga walanghiya na yan.

BAkit nga pala yung mga sasakyan ng mga Funeral Homes na kumukuha ng patay ay AMBULANCE din ang nakalagay?

Local regulations require that cadavers be transported by "ambulance". Hearses are used during the burial ceremony. Since no regulations exist regarding what constitutes an ambulance, they just paint the word "ambulance" on any van, AUV, station wagon they can get their hands on.

When my friend's father passed away, the body had to be transported to Batangas. Unfortunately, the funeral parlor did not have any 'ambulance' available. What they did was load the casket into the back of an unmarked L300 FB and just covered it up with flowers and other things until the casket was no longer visible from the outside.

Yep. The Fort has their own ambulance, Trinoma also has some units (subcontracted via their security agency). Unilever PRC has one in their plant.

But most of these units are very basic 'pantakbo sa ospital' type. Not exactly something you'd use for an ICU case transfer, planeside conduction, provincial transfer, or emergency response unit. Services which private ambulance companies are supposed to provide since they are focused in the business of ambulance conduction. Of course along the equipment should come manpower. A minimum of an EMT and RN should be on board ambulance company units.
