Also, how many people here experienced life when PAL was a monopoly and waiting 4-5 hours on a delayed domestic flight in a hot, cramped domestic airport? That was the norm back in the 80s to the early/mid 90s so we still have it better now if you ask me.
another is taking you the whole day just to book for a domestic flight at the old PAL building besides GB1

Fine cebu**** ridiculously big amount of money and/or franchise suspension.

Now that passengers still has time ditch this POS airline. Cancel all flights with them for the coming Holy Week.

The allowed over booking excuse is too lame and should not be use during peak season when practically everyone wants to get out. Kasuapangan nila resulted to the chaos compounded by their short manpower dahil sa pagtitipid during peak season. They should be suspended by CAAB.

Happened to me a few years back. we got bumped off sa flight namin to Shanghai. kesyo full tank daw kaya hindi na kaya magdagdag ng passengers eklat. hindi pa uso yung work na overbooking dati. ang siste nauna kami sa pila tas may mga Chinese passengers na dumating tas pinauna sila dahil group booking daw. nag-init ulo ko. ang gusto pa nila wait na lang namin next flight which is in 2-3 days pa. eh for 7 days lang yung trip namin tas may scheduled activities na kami the following day sa Shanghai. talagang nakipag-away ako sabi ko hanapan nila kami ng ibang flight. nung sinabi ko idedemanda ko sila saka lang sila nag-promise na gagawan daw nila paraan. so ayun may round trip vouchers and overnight accom sa Trader's Hotel. then the following day they booked us a flight to HK then Shanghai via China Air ata. nakakainis yung gusto nila ikaw ang mag-adjust kahit pa may schedule ka na sa ibang bansa.

overbooking should not be allowed during peak season (esp Christmas) dahil una, mas mahal ang pamasahe during that period. pangalawa, siguradong lilipad yung mga magpapa-book dahil they want to be with their families for the holidays.

Dapat din the airline companies, esp CEBPac, should put in staff/personnel who are capable of handling situations similar to what happened nung nakaraan. yung makakapag-isip pa and hindi mara-rattle. and dapat andun ang supervisor or someone who can be in-charge.

Na alala ko yan. Grabe noong araw. Tapos yung old airport yung pila hanggang doon sa labas ng driveway na.

If you ask me, by leaps and bounds mas okay ngayon.

Cebu Pacific is a cheap airline, so expect cost cuts to the max. In the event that I have no choice but to fly with them, I say to myself (and to the wife) ...... DO NOT EXPECT ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE. CP outsources almost all of its ground staff, from counter people to aircraft movement people, so don't expect empathy because its non existent.

We had one experience wherein the plane was already parked but for some reason the passengers cannot disembark because the ramp (re: hagdan ng eroplano) was still being used by another CP flight. I mean WTF????? .... They're so cheap, they can't buy additional "hagdan ng eroplano"???????

Does the added cost on flying PAL justify the stress and anxiety one gets in flying Cebu Pacific?

    Yes it does.

That's how you earn actually. Piso fares fill the flights (maximize asset capacity) and they get the income from the latter, full fare bookings.

This is so true. Happened to me as well sa NAIA 3 pa. As the plane taxi into the tube to a full stop, crew don't want to open the front door that will connect sa front door. Sa likod pinababa ang mga pasahero using the mobile stairs. May extra bayad daw yung tube. Sabi ko dun sa crew, sana pina slide nyo na lang mga pasahero sa emergency inflatable kasi may bayad din yang mobile stair.

Ha ha ha! Nakaka insulto naman the way they treat passengers. My friend told me riding cebu pacific was just like riding a local bus, on air.

There was one time na-cancel flight namin with Tiger Air (not yet acquired by cebupac during that time) and we were in the airport already (Clark), and may mga kasabay na iba pang flights to the same destination (HK), ang fare ng cebupac was 15K per pax, while that of AirAsia was only 3K+. 5min lang ang difference sa departure time.
