    Warning to all motorist:

While cruisin along agham road sa Q.C. infront of squatters area around 8:00pm last Saturday , one of the bystander threw a stone on my ride windshield medyo mabagal and takbo ko at around 40-50kph, Buti na lang hindi nabasag, I stopped meters away to see and maybe confront the bystander pero one of the motorist stop by my side at sabi nya "Pare you better let it go, I saw what happened and to tell tell you, it is one of the modus operandi ng carnaper sa area, if you stop longer they will have their chance to get on you then he sped away na, kaya i decided na umalis na rin, The group of bystander as i can see from my distance is not moving parang waiting lang sila what will be my next move. meanwhile there are so many people nearby.

Ingat po kayo sa lugar (Agham road Q.C) , I remember, years ago a headline from newspaper that one of the bright student from Philppine science high school was killed by a holduper from that area. despite that some of them are already relocated marami parin lawless sa area.

How sad, biktima rin ako pero sa C5. Flat tire, lumapit yung bata, eh stop light pa naman buti may kasama akong friend na naka kotse rin so I called him (di niya napansin na tumigil ako) and he went back, all the while I was in the car waiting for them. The kid kept waiting for me sa labas, umiikot-ikot, eh wala ako magagawa dahil flat tire ako masisira yung wheel pag umandar ako (stoplight pa kasi na wala rin kwenta ang tagal mag green kahit walang dumadaan sa kabilang lane). Ayun P3500 later new wheel tapos ginawang spare na lang yung bago at yung orig spare ginamit na. 4 butas yung gulong ko, I would imagine how hard kung tinamaan yung windshield at nabasag, tapos umuulan pa ng malakas.

Sometimes it's important to slow down when in a squatter's area. But mostly it's more important not to pass there at all...

If not a modus, baka tripping lang ng isang grupo doon. Baka naka-inom na yung iba. Eitherway, it seems it was good you left na lang, at baka napahamak ka pa in some form if you went back.

I was trying to find my way around a subdivision once sa Mandaluyong (hindi naman squatter), tapos may mga teenagers nearby na sobrang naghaharutan. Malakas. I slam the brakes and lower my window to find this kid standing there. Sabi ko, "Sino'ng nambato?" No response. I asked again, "Sino'ng--nam--bato?". The kid nervously points to one of his companions. At this point, I raise my voice, "ANO'NG PROBLEMA NIYO? HA?!"

The shaken kid mutters his apologies as he and his group leaves; he must have thought I was deranged.

it wud be very dangerous for me to own an automatic rifle. the immediate solution that went into my mind was spending a 30rd mag on those bystanders. marami ng masyado ang sira ang ulo ngayon. sa kalsada at tama, pati sa tabi ng kalsada.

Be very careful while driving along Agham road!

About 4 months ago at around 9 PM, I was behind a 97 Corolla at the stop light at the Agham Rd., and Q. Avenue junction. Suddenly a group of teen-agers appoached the Corolla, started banging at the windows and doors and in no time at all had been able to gain access into the car.

The incident was so sudden that no one was able to react, in about a minute the teenagers were scampering into different directions. After gathering my wits I went down and along with a taxi driver to inspect the corolla. Inside the car we found a couple who were in such a terrible state of shock. There were bruises in their faces and arms and fortunately there were no stab wounds or other severe injuries.

It took several seconds before the couple could get back to their senses and relate what happened. Apparently, the teenagers were able take off with the cellphones and wallets of the couple including a bag of take home fastfood. The guy also noticed that he had lost a tooth from the beating that they took.

Traffic then started to build up and people started milling around so we had to move on. Before leaving I overheard some wise old uziseros declaring "3 zero" , I took this to mean that the couple was the 3rd victim in the area.

I don't know if the Corollas' doors were locked or the couple opened the doors after the initial banging on their windows. So whenever anyone of you passes by Aghan Rd. at night time, be very alert especially at the stop light at the Q. Ave junction, the score just might reach 4 zero!

6 months ago, i noticed my right rear tire was flat. After checking it carefully, i noticed that there was a big concrete nail embeded in the tire. I also realized that i passed by Agham road at the night before. That's the last time i took Agham road regularly and now passthrough eliptical na lang.
If i ever have to use Agham Road, I go through it quite fast and check the actions of the pedestrians for any suspicious activity.

About the couple, i also saw a similar incident that occured in front of me along the corner of Araneta avenue and e. rodriguez. So always lock your doors and don't open it for anyone.

Yep, don't stop. If you have to, dun na lang sa may guard ng Veterans sa North Avenue side. Madami talagang raket diyan.

this is really sad. i went to school there from 1988-1992 (showing my age!) with the way things are now, I'd think twice before sending my hypothetical kid to study there.

the kid who was held up and stabbed happened a bit later than that. i think around 1994 or 1995.

it's sad because that place used to be pretty OK. those squatters there are all Mathay's fault. he relocated them there when the large tiangge (kung saan nag-simula ang Villman) and squatter area at North/EDSA was demolished to make way for the MRT station.

actually from the MRT you'll see that virtually the entire North Triangle area from Agham to EDSA is covered with those pestilential toadstool squatter shanties.

Grabe! This is the first time I've heard of such a modus. Need to keep windows closed and doors locked at all times.

Carnappers? in Agham Road Q.C.
