Problema sa Philippines yung "pwede na iyan" mentality. No matter how antiquated and rottent thing are, change is something some filipinos find hard to swallow...

But... considering every single administration since time immemorial has been content to sit back and leave the rail system unimproved, fat chance.
We need dual carriageways running north to south into and out of Manila, centered around the pier and the oil depot.
Instead, we have a single carriageway whose only improvement in recent years was the reopening of passenger services. It can't handle cargo at all.
Move south na kayong lahat. We need the customer base.
It would be interesting. Add some dams for power generation and municipal water, create a Baguio-style urban district... move everyone out of the capital and convert it back into riceland...![]()

Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
I think traffic will be the worst when they start in the Quirino Ave area to Sta Mesa kasi malilit ang mga kalsada. At least some parts of Osmena Highway have 6 lanes so may 4 lanes pang pwede daanan.
Ang tanong ko is pag dating ba sa Quirino Ave, i-de-demolish ba nila ang Plaza Dilao? Kawawa naman yung mga tao na nag-jo-jogging doon.
Chaka ang sabi daw it will cross Pasig River, so will they construct a new bridge (parang yung sa Rockwell crossing Pasig River to get to Mandaluyong)?
Up lang... sharing the latest update sa Skyway Stage 3.

I have the same question. Also wondering where the entrance ramps are southbound in this segment.
So far what i’ve seen are:
Along araneta north bound after aurora boulevard i saw an entrance ramp just after arlington
another entrance ramp northbound just after crossing quezon avenue. Beside it is an exit ramp south bound.

[Partial] Section 1 opening real soon
Skyway 3 partially open in two weeks' time —Villar
Published July 5, 2019 8:23am
A portion of the Skyway Stage 3 project will be opened to motorists in the next two weeks, according to Public Works Secretary Mark Villar on Friday.
"Sa ngayon nais ko pong i-announce na in the next two weeks io-open namin yung Plaza Dilao exit so magkakaroon ng additional na four kilometers sa Skyway," Villar said in an interview on Unang Balita.

Villar said the exact toll amount is still being "finalized," but the use of the part that will be opened in the next two weeks will be free for the meantime. —KBK, GMA News
^^ Yes, bi-directional traffic for Class 1 vehicles only.
Per SOMCO advisory, this partial opening may be suspended anytime due to ongoing constructions works.

Ito ang good news I have been waiting for years now: Skyway Alabang viaduct and expansion works is now official
