I've been drivng since 1986 at ang napapansin ko lang eh wala masyadong nababago sa mga puv drivers, lalo pa kamong lumalalala yung attitude at habit nila pagda-drive. Ika nga eh hindi nagmamature as a driver... For myself I can say na nagmature na ako as a driver, pinagpapasensyahan ko na lang yang mga buset na yan dahil wala rin namang gains on my part, baka mabaril at mapatay ko pa yan eh di kawawa lang ang pamilya ko na magsa-suffer in the end.... I almost did shot a jeepney driver once, nung feeling invincible pa ako, mainitin pa kasi ang ulo ko non, nagtakbuhan lahat nang pasahero, yung iba eh sa bintana na lumabas, almost midnight na non along aurora blvd. sa may magnolia, wlang masyado nang sasakyan, hinabol ko yung jeep at nung mapatapat sa area na yon eh saka ko hinarang....talagang nagmakaawa sa akin yung driver at napaiyak sa harap ko....alam kasi nya yung kasalanan nya at alam din nya na baka tuluyan ko sya dahil tinapat ko talaga sa area na yon...it was dimly lit at that time at yon din ang lugar na madalas magkaholdapan sa jeep at that time.... nung makita kong umiiyak na pala sya sa upuan nya eh bigla akong naawa at parang nagising.....he's almost twice my age at that time....buti at ganon yung naging behavior nya dahil kung nagmura pa sya siguro ay baka patay na sya ngayon at malamang eh nakakulong o fugitive ako ngayon.....talaga kasing on my mind eh tutuluyan ko sya non.....matapang pa kasing makasagot eh....dahil nga siguro bata pa ako at kayang dalin sa sindakan.....

well buhat non, I learned to be patience. Inisip ko yung mga nangyari at actions ko nung gabi na yon, how a simple event like that might change my life....andaming 'what ifs' ang pumasok sa kukote ko that night....baka masira lang ang buhay ko sa mga ganon na maliliit na altercations na kung iisipin mong mabuti eh walang kakwenta-kwenta.....iniwan ko na pati sa bahay yun cal.45 ko....pinalitan ko na lang nang 8 shooter na cal. 22.....hehehehe

but seriously...... I learned to be more patient and think first before doing any action after that incident....hindi tayo dapat magpapadala sa bugso nang galit dahil mas pangit ang consequences.....

ngayon eh nangingiti na lang ako kapag me mga ganyan sa kalsada....I've done my share of goods and bads as well.. I am once an asshole driver myself, but at least I am now a mature driver....at least makabawas nang konti dun sa mga pabigat sa kalsada....me mga tao talagang hindi na yata magbabago ang asal sa kalsada....I know because yung isa kong barkada eh hanggang ngayon eh kahit maliit na bagay lang eh hindi mapalagpas, tapos ganon pa rin attitude nya since we were start driving...ang mas mahirap eh kargado na palagi yon ngayon.....hehehehe sana wag syang makabaril o mabaril......

ako, i just hate the jeepney drivers along alabang-zapote road. bigla bigla na lang lumalabas yun from the right side of the road to the center lane, maski maluwag yung lane nila ahead.

tsaka yung mga tricycles along national and main roads...

    hehe..

We live in a third world country, we cannot expect all of our PUV drivers to drive responsibly, most of them aren't even HS graduates!!! I'm not giving them any excuse for driving so recklessly, these are just the facts, what makes matters worst is that the police/traffic enforcers turn a blind eye on them when they blatantly and repeatedly break the law. Just look at the bus lane, do you see MMDA/Police fully enforce this? I doubt it, they may pull over a few buses but its not consistent (The law enforcers themselves break the traffic rules and regulations!!!! sheesh :drool.

The real problem here is the enforcement of the law, when that's done I think the drivers here will be more responsible because they know the consequenses of their actions. But at our current state I doubt that will happen. Well just be patient and drive defensively and anticipate.

I also work in the binondo area so I can relate with you guys regarding those d*mn pedicabs and calesas, they are really a menace and primary cause of traffic along with those jeepneys. But the problem is madaming tamad mag lakad so they ride those peddicabs/calesas so we've got to live this.

Share the same sentiments here guys.

If i have the money, I will buy a hummer or a humvee and put lots of steel bullbars.

I'll crush all those swerving bus along edsa.

One time nga, we were cruising down along EDSA flyover around 80 kph when a bus suddenly swerved to the left. Muntik nang masapul yung corolla sa harap ko though i slowed since i expected those moves by busses.
