Budul-budul gang.

Muntik na mabudul budul yung mga in-laws ko. Ang modus nila eh tetyempong wala yung buong pamilya sa bahay at yaya at mga bata lang ang naiwan. tatawagan nila ang yaya at sasabihing nakabundol daw yung head of the family, at kailangang bayaran yung nabundol, kaya pabubuksan sa yaya yung mga drawer at pahahanapin yung mga pera at alahas. sasabihin pa na may natagpuang shabu sa sasakyan, then sasabihin sa yaya na wag munang sabihin sa ibang tao, kahit sa asawa o anak dahil nakakahiya yung nakakita ng shabu sa sasakyan.

now the scary part is this, sinabi ng tumatawag na "sige hanapin mo muna yug pera, paghihintay ako dito sa phone at sabihin mo pag may nakita ka at kami na ang pupunta dyan.

the yaya texted one of the family member and said she cant find any money, that how the family members verify that all is a hoax, wala sa presinto ang ama. and informed the yaya that its not true, lock the gates and disconnect the phone and we will just use her cellphone to contact her.

but i fear that this is not over, alam ng budulbudul gang ang landline, address at schedule ng pamilya. you see thats the only time na nagiisa ang yaya sa bahay, lagi syang may kasamang pamilya, kaya naiisip ko rin na may nagmamanman siguro ng bahay kaya alam nila na yaya lang ang tao sa pagkakataong iyon.

simple, remind and teach all your house helps to ignore such calls, since ang sabi meron naman palang silang cellphone, kung meron ulit ganyan tawag they can easily verify it to any members of the family thru their cellphones.

and pwede i set up yan pag tumawag ulit...

This happened to our maid! Buti nalang "wais" katulong namin!

So this is what happened:

SOmeone called the house and said that my mom as in the hospital and her driver had to run to by medicines, kailangan daw ng pera or whatever items makuha. Pero ang galing ng kausap, ang dami alam about our place, neighbors etc... So yung maid namin kahit nasa kabilang line, tinawagan yung driver sa cell phone, sabi ng driver, kanina pa daw nya binaba si mom, so nagduda na, then binalikan nya sa phone and said, "sige pakausap kay maam" binigay naman nila yung phone to someone pretending to be my mom, who couldnt speak properly kasi nga naaksidente, problema lang eh tagalog kinausap yung maid namin, mom ko local dialects nya lang alam and ingles, barok mag tagalog, so nahuli na peke. After the maid spoke with the person and said na di ako naniniwala, binagsakan na sya.

Kahit hindi kami nabiktima, it makes you a little bit wary about how they get their info.

yes, this what worries us too, we are past the budul-budul phase and left with criminals who know our address, phone number and schedule.

Similar thing happened to my officemate who lives in Alabang; their maid bit the bait but they were extremely lucky that when the maid went to SM Bicutan (the supposed meeting point), nakasalubong niya yung mom ng officemate ko!

Alam ko Dugo-dugo gang tawag sa ganyang modus......

Iba kasi diskarte ng budul-budol gang. Ang budul-budol is operating like selling or pawning you a seemingly valuable product but in reality it is worthless, in exchange for cash or other valuable items. Others say, they use some kind of hypnotism. But I dont think so... I dont believe in hypnotism... The victim fall into prey when they become greedy and believe they will earn big time on that offer.
