Pag ako nakakasalubong ng ganto nasisira concentration ko s road, parang nag bu-blurry yung vision ko for a while eh. tsk tsk. kainis.

:car:

i always noticed that whenever i visit the philippines...nakakasakit nga ng ulo kasi hindi ako sanay na sinisilaw on the road my dad has a 1,000,000 candlepower searchlight that he shines directly into the windshield of the worst offenders, hehe.

you might want to try that - you could probably get it from a law enforcement or fire/rescue supply place (medyo mahal yata, but you can always use it during brown-outs ) konting ingat-aksidente nga lang, since you will not be able to see anything for a full 5-10 minutes if it's shined directly into your eyes...

    Iluvdetailing,

yung self leveling mechanism is a feature in most luxury cars that adjust the beam level of the headlites... minsan kasi pag may sakay ka 3 person medyo baba yung rear ng car so your headlites aim a little higher... so with a leveling maechanism pwede mo ibaba yung aim ng lites... my car has it, i think the cefiro has it too...

ILD - it's a mechanism that aims the HID at the proper angle depending on factors like the weight/ride height of the car and the level of the road. all factory HID systems have it.

on my bmw for example, when you start the car and immediately turn on the lights, the beam points downward and gradually moves upward as it finds the ideal angle for the lamps.

the 'cut-off' point for the beam should project out as far as possible without going into the windshields of the drivers on the horizon

level indicator lang yun, Promdiboy. yung mechanism kasi...its a motor that can controll the reflector of your headlites' aim... in my w126 its vacuum controlled and i have 4 preset settings sa dash switch...

IPF170/100 sa headlights and sa aux lights ko for a total of 680watts, for a cost of less than a HID system.

well, ako,no prob..pag ayaw nya akong babaan ng ilaw..i'll let him have all 6 of my lights..against a car,my lights projects directly at driver eye-level...and see who has the last laugh..i plan to add two more, pero baka di na kayanin ng alternator,e...

i admit to this...pero original fogs mounted correctly dont do glare sa straight, but, fog beam pattern's pakalat and downward..i use this kasi mataas ang van and the headlights has limited downward lighting...para makita ko ung road directly infront of me...

aux high beam ko does my long-range lighting...

Ako rin, every night I have to live with idiots who use their HIDs on the road. Kahit naka-low beam eh nakakasilaw pa rin. Come on, not even my stock halogens are that glaring at low beam. Sakit na sa ulo ang night driving. The next time I take an eye exam, huwag naman sanang bumaba ang visual acuity ko dahil sa p***** i**** mga 'yan. Such a meaningless device should have been declared outright illegal, IMO.

HIDs are liable under violation 76 of the LTO: "Glaring front or rear body parts and/or sporting dazzling accessories". Masyado lang maliit ang penalty para sa mga gumagamit nito, dapat mga three times the cost of their HID sets ang multa para magtanda.
